Do you prefer to live in a mobile home, apartment, condo, house or mansion? 🏡🏯
-
condo, no yard work 8)
-
I just purchased a large home because I have a hand full of kids but my next place will definitely be something small, but luxurious. I want to buy condos as real estate investments but I've actually always wanted to live in a loft.
-
I've also always wanted to live in like a functional hut in Hawaii or somewhere like that. Minimalistic living with extraordinary comfort. I don't know if hut is the right word, but something like that. I know, I'm weird lol
-
A house. I have 2 kids so I love having a yard for them to play in.
-
A house. I lived in an apartment when I first moved out of my parent's home, but when I married we bought our first home. I love the idea of owning something.
-
i would prefer to live in a very big mansion with all the trimmings like a chef and maid and grounds keeper and someone to drive me around --dreams are good !! lol
-
I love my condo but I would like the best of 2 worlds a little more space and a garage.new england winter are tough at least this past year I really miss a garage :rainbow: :rainbow: :peace:
-
I would love a mansion, but I guess those days will never happen. :)
-
A house with a small yard
-
I prefer a house. That way I don't have people stomping above/below me and I can park right at my house. Not too big or too smaill.
-
actually a little log cabin sitting on the water with my own fishing pier
-
During summer: Just like Walmart-Outdoors Living. During winter: A warm and comfortable place!
-
I like living in a house. We're finally back in a house after living in a duplex for close to 11 years. It's nice to have that freedom to paint a room if you want, to plant stuff, and to not share a building with obnoxious neighbors.
-
a place where you dont have to pay rent
-
In all honesty I would prefer to live in a house. It is because I don't have to move out each year to different place like apartments. And it is because I will have my freedom to do whatever I want without warming up the neighboors.
-
I have never lived in a mobile home, a condo or a mansion. I have lived in apartments and houses and for the most part I prefer a house. There are a lot of benefits to living in a house versus living in apartments, but there are also drawbacks. I think overall, for me, so far, I prefer to live in a house.
-
I would love to live out in the country with a nice big house. But that will only have to be a dream...
-
House by far! An old red brick farm house with a big old barn and no neighbors. That's the dream anyways.
-
I live in a twin home .. it's pretty big .. 3 story, 3 bedrooms 2.5 bath .. huge eat in kitchen ... ultimately I would like to be in a single home with a bigger yard for the dog when my finances allow me to do that.
-
I prefer a house. I am not comfortable in a trailer, Condo, or a mansion. Even if I have all the money in the world to own a mansion it doesn't fit with my personality. A house is more comfortable to me because I don't have to pay a landlord and I can add other parts to the house if I have the money to do it. The kids will have a place in backyard to play and so forth.

Well that's a silly question. I don't know anybody that would choose a mobile home or apartment if they had their pick. I like my house. But a mansion on about 100 acres of land with a huge fence where no one could get close to me would be better.

You can have obnoxious neighbors when you live in a house too. :(

Just curious but why would you have to move out every year if you live in an apartment. I know people who live in the same apartment for years. And even in an apartment you don't have to be friends with the neighbors. You have freedom to sort of do what you want. You can't always have pets or decorate as far as painting When I rented I just didn't like having to ask somebody else if I could do something. I like having my own home. But you are basically renting it from the mortgage company. lol

I like living in a house. We lived in a very nice apartment before we had our first daughter and I enjoyed that too because of the size but my husband didn't like not having a yard. We bought our house and have been here nearly 37 years and doubt we'll ever move. Sometimes we do talk about down-sizing but thats as far as we've gotten.
-
I would love to live in a large apartment complex, one with lots of room and grass and playgrounds outside.
I would love for each of my kids to have an apartment in the same building so we could be an ongoing part of
each other's life.

I would prefer a mansion LOL but since reality is setting it I would like a single family home. I have seen some that are in that have small yards but yard work and outdoor maintenance is taken care of for you ( I am sure there is something like a condo fee attached).
-
I like a house with a deck and a yard and a garden. I like working outside during spring, summer and fall.
-
house never lived in a mansion before.
-
I would prefer to live in a mansion with a bathroom for every bedroom and a pool and tennis court out back. The kitchen would have a huge Viking stove with exhaust fan, dishwasher, and plenty of counter space and cupboards. The closets would all be walk-in. It'll never happen but it's fun to dream.
-
I enjoy living in a house, but if something should happen to hubby chances are I would sell it and live in an apartment. the up keep on a house is a lot to handle. Let alone the yard. I pay less on my house payment than I would for an apartment, but I also pay utilities. If I got an apartment it would be with utilities included. So for now I am living in my home.

A house is the best. Much more resale value to your home. But you get more living space in a mobile home for your money. I don't even want to thing about an apartment. People above you and below you. Then there are the people who live on the other side of the wall. Too many people! BMaston12

I like to living in a house then one day a mansion

Oh I know. But it's easier, for me anyway, to block them out when they're not living directly below me. :) After 10 years of that I'm grateful to be living in a quiet neighborhood.
-
honestly i don't mind as long as it's affordable. LOL!
but i prefer living in a house. mansion is much rather too big for me. it's not necessary really.
-
I live in a old house. I've enjoy living there for the most part but I've been eyeing the "tiny homes". They are so compact and many are just adorable.
I would want to actually go inside one and get a "feel"...(I'm scared of getting that "crammed in a box" feeling.) They also probably aren't very safe (storms, break-ins, etc.) but they ARE really cute....
-
A single family dwelling whether it's a house or a mobile home.
-
I would prefer to live in a townhouse or either an apartment, I do not need nothing too big
-
Right now I am buying a house, but I want to sell the house and move closer to my daughter. When I do move, I will live in an apartment so I want have to worry about any maintenance.
-
A house with a large yard, so I can have a flower and vegetable garden. :rose:
-
I much prefer a house! Especially now that our home is paid for!
-
mobile home I have lived in a few
apartment I have lived in a few and hate it
condo or mansion, never lived it either
house I enjoy this the most :)
-
A nice and safe home.
-
Anywhere that the weather is not to hot or to cold
-
A single dwelling would be great for us. We have noisy neighbors right now above us.
-
i prefer a house we bought year ago we were in a mobile home for 7 years love our house
-
I would love to eventually live in a house. I know it'd be a lot of work and money, but knowing I'd be able to call it my own would be worth it, imo.
-
A house, preferably detached is what I have and is open for in the future if I ever upgrade or downgrade. I rented once in my life, but would never consider a condo - especially if there is a large HOA. They're a bit hard to sell sometimes too (of course far better than a timeshare). A mansion would be too much of a hassle to clean and I cannot afford hired help.
-
House or condo -mansions are too much to clean and aparents aren't quite big enough!!!
-
I am currently happy living in my little log home up a Kentucky hollow. One day, though, I want to move to Hilo, Hawaii. I fell in love with that town on my trip to the Big Island.
-
A house but a mansion if I had a lot of money so I could move my family in it
-
I have a house with a large yard.
-
Once again a QUESTION is not a SUBJECT and people will live where they can afford it not necessarily where they want to. What do you think people would choose anyway if they could afford any place so once again the question is senseless and obvious duh! :bad:
-
I like a home that's slightly large, enough for entertaining and company, but not too big to upkeep.
-
Well a mansion is out of the question. Even if I were rich, I cannot live in that many rooms. I like a small modest house, a condo. If it is an apartment, it has to be a good size like a co-op type apartment. Modern also.
