Title: Triple Crown
Post by: ktheodos on May 16, 2015, 06:42:49 pm
Here we go...another horse that wins the first two races and has a chance for the triple crown...seems like Belmont is the big hurdle...what do you think...can/will American Pharaoh do it? Would be nice to have a horse with American in the name win the crown...

hope he does it but its very hard to do since the next race is a mile and a half which for most horses will be only time they will race that far.

I think that if any horse can do it, American Pharoah can. I will certainly be rooting for that horse! The horse is a real beauty and really stands out as a true winner, winning by many lengths over the other horses.

Love the excitement of possible Triple Crown winner.   All the horses are so beautiful.   Attending all 3 races in one year is on my bucket list.   Probably not one of the events on my list I'll complete but it's staying on.   Don't remember ever missing watching the races.

I like the American part. It would be great to have a TC winner. I don't remember what the name of the horse was who won the last one. Belmont is tough. But I think that it is the 3 races that make it hard. The ones that don't race all three sometimes win the Belmont. BMaston12

Haha.  I clicked on this thinking it was about baseball!!!  So clearly I didn't know a horse had a chance to win it nor do I know its' odds.

American Pharaoh was thrilling to watch, flying through that mud at the Preakness.  I wish him success, and think he has a good chance.  He looks like a horse that loves to race!

It would be exciting to see another Triple Crown winner in my lifetime.  It's been many years since we've had one.

I think this horse has a good chance of winning the triple crown ... was surprised when he went wire to wire in the Preakness leading the pack ... I'm definitely rooting for him.
