I'm not photogenic. I consider myself below average in looks so I don't really enjoy seeing myself in pictures. I wouldn't be caught dead taking selfies. Some of my coworkers just love taking pics of themselves. I don't, never have.

Confidence, purpose and reason, are some of the tools that contribute to picture taking. It's never entirely about looks e.g. most women spend the entire morning getting ready, making sure they look their best. Yet they wait for someone else to tell them they look good.
By patting yourself on the back you will begin to attract the type of attention that you desire.
Take a few pics for you, and go crazy, have fun doing it. Rather than focusing on the looks that you don't like focus on the experience, how much fun you had. Best regards

Only if I feel really pretty. Otherwise I'm like "please don't." (Also hate taking selfies.)

I don't like to have pictures taken of myself, and I certainly don't take selfies! I do like photography though, and I like taking pictures of nature and outdoor scenes.

It depends on the day as to whether or not I'm in the mood for a picture. I like to occasionally take some, just so I have some to look back on. I don't take very many selfies, and when I do, it takes a few for me to get it to look right.

I very rarely take selfies. I have to feel particularly good that day to do it. I've always hated having my picture taken. I find it incredibly awkward to stand/sit there and hold a pose while someone takes a picture. I don't think I'm very photogenic either.

I am not crazy about taking pictures of me, but later on I do love looking back at whatever the occasion was. So I guess it is win win whether I like it or not. Selfies seem like a big waste of time.

I've found that if I'm feeling particularly pretty that day, I won't take a selfie, because it never comes out looking how I feel. No point in dampening my confidence once it peeks its head out.

I do not mind taking pictures, it is a way you and all of your loved ones can share memories of the great things and places you have been.

Love taking pictures of my children, but selfies I feel like I don't look good enough to do selfies or take pictures of myself, just don't have that confidence like I use to.

I don't like to have my picture taken now that I'm older and 20 lbs heavier lol. I didn't mind too bad when I was young and shapely. I don't consider myself ugly but don't think I'm very pretty either; just in-between I guess. My girls are always taking pics of themselves and their family and that's alright too.

I don't mind pictures. Actually it is fun because then I have memories of me with my parents, with my kids and grandkids, and of things we like.

I love taking selfies, but not much for somebody else to get a picture of me!

I'm not into taking pictures of myself either. The only time is when I've done my makeup and look really presentable.

That would be me. I don't like to take picture that much, but if I have to then I'll do it, otherwise will avoid it all the time :)

I love taking pictures of others, but I still don't like pictures of myself. I stopped fussing and being stubborn like I was in the past, but I still do not enjoy the process and I tend to do a Chandler (make weird faces unintentionally) or have my eyes closed a lot.

I don't like taking pictures either. I'd rather be behind the camera.

I agree with you I hate having my picture taken and ffor this reason I don't post pictures on facebook

I love to take pictures of my kids and nature. Sometimes I take selfies, but not often.

I don't mind taking pictures every now and then but when I am with my little sister it is different. She is constantly wanting to take selfies. Literally like every five minutes. Lol. Drives me insane.

I'm the same, I think I just don't look good in pictures! not only, am I shy, but I avoid getting photographed unless I have too!

I've never really cared for pictures always thought they were a way to steal someones soul lol jk jk. Seriously pictures and me just don't mix i break things :D

I have a very strong aversion to being photographed. I never look good in photos, and to be honest don't look good without the camera. I just look even worse on film. I like to take photos of things though. My place is behind the camera, taking the photo. Not as the subject or "extra."

Yeah, people always want pictures of me and I'm just not having it. :( Hate taking pictures.

I love taking pictures but I do not like being the subject of pictures!

I don't like to take pictures because I don't like the way I look in the pictures. I need to lose weight and then maybe it would be different.

I do like taking them, I see people taking selfies all the time; I generally avoid taking pictures of others as well since I don't seem to do that well either, guess I am challenged when it comes to photography. :(

I so with all of my might. I kids say that there a hardly any photos of me and I tell them they are just have to remember me in there minds.

The only people who always look good in pictures are super models, actors and others who have professionals at their disposal. Air brushing makes them all look perfect. Luck is the determiner for good amateur pictures. Right place, right time, etc.
Do you know of a better way to remember your life than to have your picture taken while doing it? We really shouldn't dwell on how we look in the pictures. How vain we all are. Myself included.
Let's just let people take our picture and then forget about it. If you don't like it, don't look at it. It's way better than no one ever wanting to take your picture. Right???? How sad that would be. :(

I hate having my pictures taken! i swear I am 3 photos in the last 10 years, lol. I avoid them like the plague.

I'm with you. I don't want any part of having my picture taken and I certainly don't like looking at pictures of me. I have been that way for as long as I can remember and I don't see it changing any time soon.

I do not like my pictures taken most of the pictures that are taken are mostly force or I just gave in to puppy eyes lol.
