Title: Favorite Board games.
Post by: aharr1 on May 28, 2015, 12:34:20 pm: What is your favorite board game to play with the family? I love it when my family gets together and plays risk or monopoly!

Post by: BlackSheepNY on May 28, 2015, 12:45:09 pm: Parcheesi is one. When my grandmother was alive, she loved that game and we used to have so much fun playing with her. She was born in Italy, and with her Italian accent she would just crack us all up because she'd get so mad if someone was beating her. She'd make roadblocks and wouldn't open them until one of her men got "home." What a riot, and some of the best memories of my Grandma! We still sometimes play this game when all the family is over for the Holidays and think about Grandma.

I loved Trivial Pursuit and had the original game and the "Cheers" edition. "Clue" was another game we'd laugh out loud while playing. "Uno" is a great card game to have a lot of fun with, too!

Post by: patti4me on May 29, 2015, 02:40:32 pm: I love them all! Monopoly and Yahtzee are probably my 2 favorites. There's only been one game in all my years of board games that I did not like! That was Life! I just never liked it for some reason. One of our daughters had asked for it for Christmas one year and after she got it, I wished I had never heard of it. She loved to play it and of course Mom had to play it with her even though I did not like it.

We prefer non boards games...Left Center Right...a dice game is a lot of fun...also scattergories...and an adults only game...Cards against Humanity...you really have to have an open mind and not be over sensitive

Post by: braggin on June 07, 2015, 08:55:40 am: My absolute favorite game to play with the family is Scrabble, although we also have a lot of fun with Monopoly and Clue. I also play Words with Friends online every day and have a lot of fun with that.
