Title: Do you employer have luncheons for special occassions?

We have a lot of luncheons for special occasions. Today we had our
first barbecue for the summer. Last week we had a wedding shower.

I'm not currently working outside of the home but years ago I worked for an orthodontist that was great at taking us out once a month to some great restaurants.   We were all allowed to drink as much as we wanted because he would drive his van, pick us all up and drop us off at the end of the night.   He also took us on several great trips for conventions.  Went to New Orleans, the beach several times.   It was a great bonding experience for the staff and I'm sure a great tax write off for him.   Loved it.

No, not really.  But it is only the boss and two more of us.  It would be a pretty small party!!!

We have lots of company dinners...no trips though.

Every now and then we have a cook out or they will have a company bring food in.  But if your lunch is later in the day you do not get anything because some of my co-workers are real pigs or they take a bunch of food home to their family so there is not enough left for the actual employees.

we have lunches all the time also ! for birthdays and holidays and heck sometimes such cause we want to fellowship together --its nice to just gather and shoot the breeze --

Not very often. We use to have pizza a few times a year, for various reasons, but now they barely ever do that. And they did away with their yearly company picnic last year.

Yes and sometimes for stupid reasons as well but I do enjoy the food so no complaints here ahaha.

No not usually.  I don't work in an office so we really never have anything not even holidays.  It's only been recently that my employer will provide something for us and it's not much.
