Okay, so I'm bored. But I love hearing stories about puppies/dogs and kittens/cats. Right now my little 5 month old chihuahua/terrier Penny Lane is sitting next to me on the couch and while she is probably the most clingy animal that I have ever owned, she is also the sweetest. A brat sometimes, but so cute that I can never stay mad. Oh, and for some reason she likes to eat paper and hair? Hahaha, it's disgusting.

I have a big fat fluffy hamster named Peanut. Laziest multi-celled creature I ever did see. But he's SOOOOOO cute!

we have a super old, super friendly, sleepy cat named taffy.
and a hyper goldfish named pollyanna.
and taffy loves to drink polly's water when she thinks
no one's looking!

we have 2 pomeranians and one is going to have puppies soon, i cant wait, to me they are very smart, and have big attitude, and are very loveable, my females name is ruby and are male is named teddy.

We have 2 Cats both were strays..my brother brought home Bubba on Thanksgiving a few years ago and then I found Oddball on Thanksgiving last year...we also have 2 dogs..skip is a jack russel and sassy is a yorkie...skip was here first so he is very jealous over Sassy since she is still a puppy i try to love her as much as i can..when i go to love skip he literally will just stick his nose up in the air and snub me..lol..he does the same thing to me when i leave for a few days like on vacation or something..lol.. :)

paper and hair? lol. what a combo! penny lane sounds cute, however.
i have 3 dogs, a yorkie name cayce, a pomeranian named copper, and a black lab named kaylee. cayce is 6; copper, 14; and kaylee, 2.
i also have a dwarf rabbit named buttercup. i didn't get her as a baby, but i thinkkk she will be 3 or 4 around february.(the couple i got them from got her around easter, and she was about 6 weeks old, so i figure it's around that time.)

I have a westie and two calico cats. They certaintly keep me entertained all day, thats for sure!

I have a skinny little black & tan dachshund named Dixie, and a big fat dapple dachshund named Blue. Blue has a brown eye & a blue eye :) I also have 2 little goldfish I call the "fatties" lol. And my daughter is getting a parakeet for xmas...anyone have a parakeet? I need to learn more about birds before we get it.

I have 3 rescued pitbull females, ranging in age from 9yrs to 2 yrs old. They are the best... I know, everyone thinks they're animals are the best. I totally get that. And if you have a shelter/rescue animal, I'm inclined to believe. They make the BEST pets! :D
All 3 of my babies had a *really* rough start in life. They were all severly abused and/or neglected before coming to live with me and it was just heartbreaking to see. With lots of love and dedication they have become the sweetest, snuggliest, most loyal and polite dogs I've ever known.

I have currently 2 cats. One is a 12 year old male named Gumby and the other is a 3 year old calico named Roxxi. I used to have 2 dogs and 3 cats when I lived in my house. Now I live in an apartment and shouldn't really have the cats, but what they don't know won't hurt them.

good heavens, i'm afraid this is going to be a BOOK - but you can't blame me for not wanting to leave any of my children out.
here goes..
*tippy turtle has been with me for nearly seven years now. i got him when he was just a wee little thing for $4.50 and he's been growing ever since.
*jane guinea pig is nearly four years old. black with a white stripe up her back, kindof like a little skunk.
*meryl hermie crab was a gift from my bff, cloudsoup<3.
*gary snail is meryl hermie crab's roomate.
*i have seven dogs: elaine is a huge german shepherd/golden retriever mix. she's extremely intimidating to look at, but a big softie at heart - super duper shy and spooks easily. moose and bubba are brothers - black lab/dalmation mixes. they're goofy as can be. louie is my big baybeh<3. he's a biggg black lab with a huge, bushy tail that constantly wags. freckles is a dalmation that just showed up at the house one day and never left. she has excellent manners and tends to take care of the others, always cleaning them up and whatnot ;p daisy is a fox terrier mix - white with a cute little pink nose. and ralphie is a blue beagle. he's the prettiest color i've ever seen. and the only dog that's allowed to stay inside.
*i also have five kitties. fluffy is an old worn out tom that has been around for years now. he always has hair falling out - from fighting for the ladies, no doubt. callie is the oldest female and as you guessed it, a calico. flower is black and white - named after 'flower' from bambi ;p cream puff is white and cream colored. and rainbow is a kitten that i recently picked up off of the street, because of her looking so much like my flower did when she was younger.
*gruffy and betty lou are goats. gruffy stinks to high heavens, no matter WHAT you do with him. and betty lou is a little on the crazy side. she spooks at the slightest movement or noise.
..there are also tons of chickens, ducks and guinea fowl running around outside, but obviously they aren't all named and don't count for quite as much.

Oh wow. Animals are great. At the moment I have 2 goats and 2 dogs. Someone is trying to give me a rabbit and my kids want a kitten and chickens. Growing up in Chicago these goats are strange to me, but they sure are funny. Thier names are Ebony 7yrs. and steveo 10 mnths. My dogs are Roxy german sheppard 1yr. and Chloe 8 weeks boxer/pit. Chloe cracks me up though. I'm trying to train her to where a collar and it's sad and funny at the same time. When it's off, she runs around like a mad man. Put it on it's like barbells hanging from her neck and she won't move, take it off again and back to her old ways. I was told this was going to take time, but I would really like to take her on walks with us when she isn't chasing the goats.

!! i have 1 dog and 2 cats, my dogs name is riley and hes the most beautiful snoozer ever, my 2 cats are orange and ones black and white they're really hyper :)

We have a tiny little mixed dog named Scrap!! Hes a cutie but such a lap dog. Not really good for anything except keeping your seat warm!!!

I have a kitten. Well he is almost a year old now. He likes to try and push my husband out of the bed at night. It is so funny at times because he does manage to kick him out of the bed. He will curl up next to me and go to sleep until my husband comes to bed and he tries to push him out.

I have a miniature australian shephard who's ridiculously intelligent and does tricks all the time. She's also lightening fast. The problem with these things is her life revolves around the tennis ball. That's all she seems to care about in life! She's a work dog-- she's gotta be doing something constantly or else she gets depressed. It's really funny. She also volunteers at hospitals and retirement homes to take stress out of people.

I have just one cat now that is about a year and a half old. We named him Calypso because at the time, we thought he was a girl... oops. We already had another cat when we got him but he was the last of the litter. Being a black cat, nobody wanted him, so we decided to take him before the owners took him to the animal shelter. He used to act like a dog when he was younger. He would carry things around in his mouth and when he saw something he wanted whether it was a toy or someone's sock, he would carry it in his mouth over to his spot under one of the chairs and that's where he kept everything. It's normal to see a cat kneading at a blanket or something, but he takes it in his mouth and drags it to where he wants it. He'll pick up small sections at a time until he makes a pile that he likes. It's quite funny to watch.

when you list all of them, you really do have quite the farm my dear!
i'm so used to all your critters that i didn't realize there were so many.
you could totally open a shelter :P maybe that's what you should do!
a shelter that isn't limited to cats and dogs. ANY animal would be welcomed
and rescued<3

We have two dogs. One is a border collie mix and is eight years old. her name is Bobbi and we got her 4 years ago at a no kill shelter. Her last owners abused her so she is very timid and clingy. But definitely has those herding instincts as our neighbors cat found out. No worries, no one was hurt. Our other dog is oneyear old austrailian sheperd. Shes very out going and has he longest tongue for her little head. I swear she thinks she is art bunny the way she hops around in the grass. She just loves the water and will push anyone out of the way to get to it. Togehter they complement each other very well and get along great. :dog:

I had a wonderful golden retriever. She had cancer and had to be put to sleep in June. I miss her very much! :crybaby2:

I have a black and gray/silver mix lab and english pointer. She loves to chase flies when they get in the house. She will act like she is hunting them and sneak up on them. My roomate also has a shih-tzu and he is so cute with his puppy eyes. He is a shadow, wherever you go he is right behind you or infront or on the side......

when i got here in US my husband got a cat his 11 years old and his name is Nomar fat,healthy and shytype ;D.

7 year old, 18lb, black cat (Squeakers) :cat:
2 year old, 50lb mixed (chow, malamute, retriever) dog (Pumpkin) :dog:
both were rescues when i got them.

we have 2 cats and 1 dog.
Our 1st cat Topeka is a menace and spends most time in the basement carrying around small stuffed animals.
Our 2nd cat Mittens is SUPER shy and hides from anything and anyone.
Our Dog Tigger is Ugly... lol.. she's a Minature-Pincher-Poodle mix.. she's a complete Sweetie.. just very.... odd looking. :)

I had a dog rescue rescue in Ohio for 11 years and just recently gave it up when I moved to Maryland. I have 6 dogs {all rescue of course}. They are:
Annie- alpha, loves to ride in the car, way to smart
Britt- I got her over an aggresion problem and now she is a big sweety
Skeeter- shy,wierd,took her a year to warm up to me but she is fine now
Grace- all the other dogs hate her- I think she calls them all names. Just can't figure out why they don't like her. She is the best back warmer in bed.
Augie- my poor little man- he's very low on the totem pole but they all get along with him. He is a little squish love bug
Monkey- my pug/chihuahua- She is adored by all especially me. She's funny,playful, sly and spoiled. We all voted and made her Queen.
I also have a bird- a cockatiel with the very original name of Bird Boy. He loves to dance,swing and eat Cheerios. He also loves the smiling Bob male enhancement ad because they whistle in it. :male:

We have a terrier mix, he's about 9 as far as we can tell. We found him abandoned and took him in when he was about a year old. Sweet, loyal, wonderful dog.
Also a 19-year-old cat who climbs bookcases like a panther and plays like a kitten. She likes to cuddle up in my lap and purrrrrr.

I have a 3 yr old Chihuahua, but he still plays like a puppy. He loves playing with his ball. He takes position when I kick his ball to go running after it. He is so active and playfull. Loves to run. His name is Twyster. We named him Twyster because he would have a funny sided walk when he was small. :P

Hehe I have 5 cats. I loooove cats! Names: Kami, Chiyo, Ichigo, Renji, and William Chuggie. Kami and Chiyo are about a year 1/2 old while the others we've had for a few years. Ichigo is really friendly and outgoing, as well as Chiyo. (She's the only female) The other cats are really shy and nervous around company though. Everytime I see a kitten I just want to take it home..lol.
I am going to become a cat lady!

I have a parrot that loves mimicking smoke detector to watch the dog run for the door

We own two dogs, a Beagle and a Boxer. The Beagle's name is Lilly. She is 4, weighs 26lbs, is what they call a "Blue Tick" Beagle, and was adopted from our local shelter. The Boxer's name is Brutus. He's 6, weighs 65lbs, and is brindle. He found us. We were working in the front yard one Sunday and he started jogging down the street. My wife called him over, as he looked malnourished and thirsty. We gave him some food and water and afterwards she went around the neighborhood and surrounding streets trying to find his owner. No one recognized him. So, on Monday we took him up to the Humane Society. They scanned his chip, but the owner never entered their info. They took him and we asked them to call us if no one came and claimed him. Two weeks later they called back and we adopted him.

I have a 1 year old feamle orange tiger cat. I got her from the Humane Society on a whim. The day that I got her, unfortunately I had to go to work so I could only spend a little time with her. Once I got home though, I sat on the couch and she instantly curled up on my lap and fell alseep. It was the sweetest thing ever. And since then she is sometimes wary of people but for the most part she will walk up to anyone and charm them.

2 dogs from the Animal Shelter - one is a mixed German Shepard Pit Bull that has destroyed over $2000 in screens but she's my son's dog and he loves her so ... the other is a gentle Black Lab ...
3 Cats from the pet store ... Jasper, Rocky and Yuki ... Jasper is like a dog ... greets everyone at the door, sleeps in my arms almost everynight, covers his eyes if there is too much light, loves Fritos and Potato chips, and likes to tap keys on my laptop keyboard when I'm on it ... my husband says Jasper is my boyfriend !
