Title: what type and brand of bacon do you eat

I like the bacon from the deli section at Stater Bros it is cut thick and they have 3 different kinds. The apple wood flavor taste pretty good.

Post by: braggin on July 04, 2015, 08:54:47 am: I buy whatever brand is on sale or cheapest so long as it looks fairly meaty. I wouldn't buy a package of bacon that looked mostly fatty. Oscar Meyer brand and Kirkland brand are usually pretty good.

I do buy the applewood bacon or the thick cut for others when they are visiting. I look at the package to see which one has the least amount of fat.

I love the way bacon smells :)

Post by: honeyflower93 on July 30, 2015, 03:35:19 pm: I like thick cut pork bacon. I'm not picky on the brand really. Usually just by store brand or the cheapest one. I'm also a huge fan of using pancetta/Italian bacon in pasta recipes or roman chicken. It's delicious.
