Who's still afraid of getting shots. Do you get nervous when you go to the doctor afraid you may get one.
-
Not really afraid of getting shots, but I do feel a little wheezy when I'm about to give blood.
-
Not afraid of getting shots. They only hurt for a moment. :o
I give blood all the time too. Initial jab is creepy but you're helping other people so it's worth it. Right? :angel11:
-
no big deal here. not afraid of needles. my only objection is when they can't find a vein to get blood from me. then i start to get a little woozie :(
-
Not at all bothered by getting shots. But I am anxious sometimes the needle had become contaminated...it happened once and I got sick.
-
I am not, I have to go donate plasma today and that is a much bigger needle.
-
Not all for many times doing it.
-
Shots don't bother me and if it helps even better.
-
I hate shots. They hurt. : (
-
I dont mind shots, unless they are from the dentist, and he gives one in the upper gums, omg that hurts!

Where were you at that they reused needles, or were they contaminated some other way.
-
Yes I am nervous and scared too, lol
-
Ohh my goodness. I am still a little kid when it comes to getting shots. I recently gave birth to my beautiful baby girl Emily and when they were giving me IV and epidural shots I was sweating and keep asking is it gonna hurt? lol but everything went well. I am not fund of shots at all.

shots don't bother me .. as long as I don't look .. don't need to know when it's coming and tense up .. just stick me !!
-
I do not enjoy getting shots but I realize it's one of those necessary evils that I must endure so I grin and bare it. :'(
-
I hate them. I have been self injecting weekly for 10 years and still can't get used to it. I think it is just natural to hate them.
-
I do not like shots, but I'm pretty much not afraid of them. There is a slight fear when I know it's going to stick in me, but it's only a brief period. I never seem to stare away, but I don't think it would do be any good.

I like it better if they tell me first. And I have noticed that a shot from a man hurts less than a shot from a woman. Maybe it's because I am female and the man is trying to be easier and not hurt me as bad. lol
-
As far as shots go I can take them or leave them but the person that said about getting them in the upper gum was totally right they hurt like heck
-
I just do not like to look when it is being done. Other than that their okay.
-
Never liked them and never will. They've become more tolerable over the years, but still don't like them. I always get nervous for some reason even though I know what's coming.
-
I am not afraid of getting shots, because my dad helped me get over that fear, when I was young.
-
I just find your wording a little funny to me. I know some people are afraid of shots, but that has never been the case for me as long as I can remember.
-
Not afraid, but have never really enjoyed the thought of pain! :) >:(
-
Not afraid of them, just do not like that sick but it's usually so fast, you blink and then it's over; unfortunately they are sometimes a necessary part of staying well.
-
it depends on the shot.a flu shot dosen't bother me. I'm not bothered by the pain.
right now I am dealing with hives that are auto ammune waiting for an injection to be approved by insurance.
all though I want the shot because current medication isn't working concerned about possible reation or that fact that it maynot work. :rose: :rose: :peace:

Before my son was born, I hated needles. While pregnant with him, I got so many shots that I got to the point that I would just sit and watch them give the shots to me. Needles don't bother me much anymore.
-
I'm ok with getting shots. But I can't look it and try to thinking of something else to distract me.
-
Every time I look at this post topic, I think it's about drinking. :monkey:
Then when I check it out, it's about injections with needles. You'd think I'd remember. :silly:

Ever since my youngest son was diagnosed with asthma, he has no option but to have the needle vaccine rather than the nasal mist which all the other kids at school have. I would have preferred him to get the nasal mist because it is so easy however apparently the nasal mist can trigger an asthma attack. So all my family members now get the needle vaccine to show our support for all asthmatics!
