My friend introduced me to this program called CCcleaner.
Everytime the computer runs slow, I now can 'clean' the computer. It is free, and comes in many languages.
There is also another program out there called 'dustbuster' but I never had it in an English form so I did not use it much, I have only used it, in Italian. It even takes out some viruses.

I too highly recommend this program. CCleaner (https://www.piriform.com/)is one of our staples at work... Our floor manager sent out an e-mail about it a few years ago, and us engineers regularly use it on the computers out on the floor. Although our AV program keeps out the very dangerous malware, CCleaner is good for getting rid of junk, including upgrade files that the computer may have downloaded prior to upgrading a program but didn't get rid of after the upgrade.

CCleaner is an awesome program. It runs every morning when I fire-up the computer. Other "free" programs that are great, too, are: Malwarebytes, AVAST! Anti-Virus, McAfee's Stinger, VLC Media Player, and the FileHippo App Manager.

I use Ccleaner several times a week to keep my laptop running faster...also there's a great program called Malwarebytes that is free and does wonders to get rid of viruses that regular antivirus programs dont pick up on.

CCleaner is indeed useful and theirs also malware bytes with a free version.

Thank you for the info. I have that one installed on my computer and I like it.

I've been using CCleaner for a while now. It's a great program to keep your computer up and running. I love that it's free.

There is a similar program for Linux called BleachBit, but I don't need to run it nearly as often since I started using Linux for surfing instead of Windows. Problems evaporated.

Nothing is truly free. You will pay for it in some way or another.

Avast! antivirus, I had used Norton for years, but a good computer geek turned me on to Avast! and it has been a great savings!

I use C Cleaner everyday after I get through making my pennies.

I'm familiar with CC Cleaner and had it on my old computer. I also like Avast and Malwarebytes. Both of those programs have helped significantly and now I rarely have a problem with my laptop.

Thanks for the info, will try it sounds like a winner.

I use http://www.techsupportalert.com/ (http://www.techsupportalert.com/) to find out some good free computer programs. I like it since I already have most of the computer program that are recommended, before I found the site.
