Do you pay your bills on time consistently? I use to be able to before I lost half of my income, now I pay them the best I can. My goal is to work on one at a time and try to pay them off.

I do pay my bills on time. I used to write checks out, but now pay most of mine online.
@melodylogan45, I hope you find another source of income to replace the half income you have lost.
-
I've been pretty consistent at paying on time. There was a time when I couldn't because I lost my job and was out of work for a year, but I managed to get back on track. Now it's just a matter of getting these debts eliminated.

I always pay my bills on time. If you do not then you have a late fee. I don't want to pay that.
-
I pay on time all the time. I would have a cow if I was late on a payment. That's just how I am.
Usually, if you talk to your creditors they can schedule a payment plan that it easier on you. It doesn't hurt to try. Good luck. :highfive:

i try to keep my bills paid on time but sometimes unexpected things come up and when you live check to check it throws you completely off and things have to go unpaid--i just do the best i can
-
I always pay on time and I'm grateful to have an income that allows me to do so.
-
I pay my bills on time always but there are times when it becomes extremely difficult to do so.
-
mine are paid on time...we have one check that comes in monthly so i cant be late....

Had to let my house go after my husband died and my income dropped by half - also got rid of cable and anything else I could. Now I pay my bills as soon as I get my social security and the rest I try to make last through the month for food and gas. I find that if I don't pay the bills first then I would always be late with them and then its just wasted money on late fee's.
-
I pay my bills as soon as they come in that way I am sure one won't get misplaced and I lose it due to hubby messing around at my desk. He moves things around when he balances the checkbook for me. the only thing I ask him to do. It's not that I can't do it, but that he needs to be do something to help out.

The majority of my bills are student loans; I simply place them in deferment/forbearance. This enables me to focus on paying my monthly bills and one of the student loans consistently.
-

I pay them all on time, and most are automatic online payments... thankfully :)

I actually enjoy paying my bills and monitoring my credit score. It's important to me that I live "within my means" and that I take care of my financial obligations in a timely manner.

My wife pays the bills. I work overtime at two full time jobs ( and have a third part tie job) and my checks go directly into the family account. I could only give you a rough estimate of how much I make but if you were to ask my wife at any given point she would say that it isn't enough. I do not go on vacations because I am always working and if I need to go out of town for one of the kid's events my computer is going with me or I am waking up several hours early to get more work done. My wife/the kids go on vacations once every eight to twelve weeks (Disney World, Soccer tournaments, Tennis tournaments, Lacrosse tournaments, Grandparent/Inlaw visits). Coupled with those trips the family never seems to be home due to being out having fun (and spending money).

Since losing jobs, husband disabled I try my best to pay everyone on time or early. But sometimes it just doesn't happen. Even though this F/C does not add up to much every little bit counts.

Yes, I pay my bills on time. I know it can be a juggling act prioritizing your bills but to make sure I don't miss any of my payments, I make a diary note when one is becoming due so that it doesn't get forgotten. Regarding my credit card bills, I try to make payments on the cards that charge the highest interest first, and the cards which charge a lower interest can wait a little longer.

I have three bills that are set up for automatic withdrawal.
Two are quarterly.
I see the foot doctor once a year and pay him by check, which he requests.
He is always late cashing it. 'It is interesting to me that he asks me to send it in as soon as I get the bill.
Yet, he takes two months to cash it in.

Yes I sure do but if I lost half of my income I'd be in the hurtbag as well, keep ttrying and plugging away!!

I'm back to no longer having a consistent income (I have a commission job and then I work on-line some). Some months are really slow, so not much money. Some months are really great. So, it's a "balancing" act.
I pay bills first and then put most of what is left over from my regular job into savings so it's there to pay regular bills during the slower months.
My on-line income pays for the groceries, pet food/care, clothing, birthdays/holidays, household stuff, etc.
I subtract any money saved from using coupons, doing rebates, etc from budget & that goes into a savings account for "mad money".

I try to pay my bills on time and I usually am able to do so but sometimes it is difficult.

I Do Pay Bills. I like paying bills because I can not deal with the stress of not paying bills I hate it when people think it's ok to let bills go. You have to pay your bills.

A good way to make sure is to enroll in auto-pay wherever it's offered. The thing is, if I'm not mistaken, if you miss even one payment and it's reported to credit bureaus, you can never have an A for the payment history portion. That's not to say you can't have good credit. Not trying to scare anyone. It's just good to keep that in mind.
