Title: Manners
Post by: snuggleycutejc on September 08, 2015, 08:50:35 am
You can use this day because September 8 is Pardon Day. I hope you can forgive easy, that's good for you. I hope you have a happy day  :present:

You bet, I forgive easy. It's not worth the hassle and unrest and probably wouldn't make any difference to hold on to your personal commitments when they interfere with life itself. So I forgive you for making this controversial post.

Forgiving might be easy but forgetting is not!!

I think it is not possible to forgive certain actions. Do not forgive instead forget all that really hurts...and move on.

Yup. Forgiving is the easy part, forgetting is always what eats away at me. I'll forgive anyone. I may never speak to you again, but you are forgiven!  :D

I try to use every day as my pardon day. It's hard at times but if you truly forgive with your heart then the rest will follow. You will never forget but don't let that memory taint your forgiveness. :)

Nope I forgive those who have asked for it and honestly are sorry for what they did wrong. I see no reason to forgive someone who doesn't want my forgiveness. I just simply put the person out of my mind and to me they no longer exist  as part of my world.

i really dont believe in holding grudges..it keeps you angry and gives you a different outlook on everything...so once i say what i have to say its pretty much over...

I'm less forgive-and-forget and more forgive-but-remember-forever-because-I-can't-help-it, haha.

really don't think there should be a pardon for bad manners.  i was raised, and have raised my son...that if you don't have manners you don't get respect that is deserved.

Life is too short.  As for me, I forgive and forget.  Have a wonderful day!

I think I recall reading in the bible that we should be slow to get angry and quick to forgive. I sometimes find it difficult to forgive. I find myself acting the part of someone who forgives, until I am able to forgive. I find if I act it, I become it!

Forgiving is reasonable if people learn from their mistakes.  It's also possible to forgive if you no longer deal with the person who makes the same mistake over and over and over.

If you're stuck in a situation with someone who doesn't learn.....

It's best to move on so you can forgive....

from a distance.

I forgive, I hold know grudges but I distances myself from people whom try to steal my happiness away. So just because you forgive someone doesn't mean you need to continue having them in your life.

:) I learned a long time ago to forgive and forget and move on. The only person you hurt by not forgiving is yourself. :) Suck it up, learn from your misfortune, and move on. Life is to short to be unhappy. :)
