Title: removing batteries
Post by: Gerianne on September 23, 2015, 07:32:08 am
you use a pen.
you try to pry it out.
you try a nail file.
by the time you get it out, it is dented and for sure won't work anymore.
someone must have or should invent a gadget to make this process easier.

Use a coin to remove batteries. Use a dime because it works most of the times.

That would be a perfect invention.  I like it when they have that little strip of cloth that goes under the battery.  It makes getting them out easier.

yes something thin, a dime would do the trick most times I would think.

You could always create a pull tab by wrapping a piece of tape around it with the ends put together to form a tab.  I use one on my driver's license to be able to remove it from the slot in my wallet.  :glasses-nerdy:

Would be nice to have a battery puller. Insert a pull tab to the new battery, or string, might help for next time!

I just always hate it when I try using my fingernail and the battery is too tight so that it bends my nail backwards! Ouch! That hurts!   :'(

I sure agree, some of them doesn't even got string, I end up have to use screwdriver to pry it out  :silly:

I made a tab for my driver's license too using scotch tape.  It sure makes it easy to pull out my license whenever I need to.  No more struggling to pull it out.

Most of the time I'm able to pull batteries out with my finger nail. If that doesn't work then a pen is my next choice. That can be a pain to get out sometimes.
