With Halloween fast approaching I wanted to ask everybody what their favorite Halloween movies/Horror shows are!
I like the Twilight Zone from the 60s very much, I used to like goosebumps as a kid, and American Horror Story is pretty good! As far as movies I like Texas Chainsaw the original, Dawn of the Dead, The Conjuring, Saw 1, Silence of the Lambs, and It Follows!

I am not a fan of horror shows. They are very unsettling to me.

nightmare on elm street :sad1:

I like the Insidious movies, Scream, I don't know if this really qualifies as a horror movie but I like the first Resident Evil as well. As far as shows I'm watching American Horror Story right now.

this isn't exactly an offer topic and should probably go into another topic, but as it is close to halloween it's a good topic... I love silence of the lambs and night of the living dead
-
I love Freddy's Dead the final nightmare, as well as nightmare on elm street part 3, 4, and 5 . Freddy movies are on AMC in October because of halloween.
-
I liked to watch the movies Psycho, the FLY and An American Werewolf in London
-
The Alien and Predator series! Maybe not completely the horror genre, more sci fi to some extent, but I think a bit of each.
-
I don't like the gory movies! My husband sits here and watches them all the time. I could hear them and it grosses me out.
-
I tend to stay away from most of them, they can be a bit overwhelming and then I have problems sleeping so I just try to avoid.
-
the nightmare on elm street and the Halloween all of those old scary ones.

TV show (not REALLY horror) is The Walking Dead. I haven't seen any good horror movies lately. I do like the remake of Dawn of the Dead - watched it many times. Most movies are out for the gore factor and that just doesn't scare me...

I watched the Halloween marathon this past weekend. I think it was overdone, though, because the series was over and over again. They also had Nightmare on Elm Street all weekend. I kept flipping back and forth between AMC and Syfy channels. Missed the Conjuring and I wanted to see that one.
I love the Walking Dead TV show. My husband sits there and laughs all through it. At least he finds something funny!
BTW, the one movie that creeped me out for a lifetime was The Exorcist. I saw it in the movies and we had just moved into our first home. That night, I heard "knocking" on the ceiling. Needless to say, I did not sleep that night. IT turned out it was a squirrel doing what I call "playing basketball" with the walnuts he gathered in the crawl space. Whew! But I never watch that movie on TV. Still creeps me out.

The old black and white horror movies.
-
Any movie with ghosts or demons are unsettling to me.
-
If i was to like horror films i would have to say the old black and white as well not so scary ;)
-
I like scary movies. Don't know why but I think because all they show are outdated Westerns on TV. The old west as we knew is gone forever where everybody shoots one another. Now isn't that a bit scary also?
