For a computer mouse, I would rather use a wire than deal with changing batteries.
Do you prefer a computer mouse with the wire, or a wireless mouse?
-
I've used both. After I switched to wireless, I never wanted to switch back, but I do get tired of changing batteries. I spend a lot of time on the computer, and it seems like no time at all until I get the message that my mouse is about to shut off. Then I'm forced to get up and find a couple of new batteries.
-
I prefer wireless. I make sure to turn mine off when I'm not using and that helps save on the battery life.
-
Even tough I have I laptop I still prefer a mouse. I have limited dexterity and a mouse is much easier for me to use. I love my wireless mouse I travels with me. :pumpkin: :turkey: :peace:

I prefer it ALL be wireless. The easiest way to make the batteries last longer on a wireless mouse is to flip the switch to the "off" position when not in use, and after shutting down the computer for the evening. Since my keyboard is wireless, too, I turn that off also.

Wireless is SO MUCH better than wired. I have a Bluetooth mouse that has an internal rechargeable battery, so I just plug it in every few nights to a USB power cord and let it charge overnight. I've only run out of power a handful of times when I forget to charge it for 7-10 days.
-
I prefer a wireless mouse because I do not have to worry about the wire getting tangled.
-
I use a mouse with a wire and my mom uses a wireless. The wireless is nice since you don't have to worry about the wire getting tangled (which has happened to me before). However I still prefer the wire. Like you I don't want to have to use batteries.
-
I've used both...I prefer wireless but, either my cat steals it or the batteries die at the worst possible times. I got tired of running to the store for batteries & not being able to find the mouse. I keep a small tote filled with batteries, an extra wireless mouse, an extra corded mouse and some other extra computer cords, because cat also likes to chew!) No more unwanted emergency trips to the store!!

I like both but I prefer a wireless mouse because I don't have to worry about the cord all the time.
-
I prefer wireless. Dealing with the cord is annoying to me.

I do the same! I prefer wireless but turn it off when I'm not using it. It helps save the batteries which I still have to change often because I do a lot of computer work.
-
I prefer a wireless mouse. I find it so much easier to work with and maneuver. If I use a corded mouse the wires tend to get in my way.
-
For a laptop I prefer wireless.
For a desktop I prefer optical wired.
Mostly because I can manage the cables better on a desk and if I'm using my laptop I'm usually on the fly, so having all those cords can be a hassle.
-
I use a wireless one easy to use
-
I don't even use a mouse anymore. I prefer a trackpad.
-
Absolutely prefer my wireless. One less cord. Like someone else said, I turn it off when I'm not using it. Love it.
-
I have both and have no preference over either one, but I do like the mouse even on a laptop
-
I prefer a wired one... I wrap the excess chord with a velcro strip so I hardly ever have to worry about it tangling, and because it doesn't use batteries, I don't have to worry about replacing them nor turning off my mouse after use. Having them wireless is just not enough of a benefit to purchase a new mouse.
-
I use both. Wireless on the go and wire at home.
-
I prefer a wireless mouse especially with my laptop. I can't stand the mouse pad of a laptop. It is so frustrating to use sometimes.
-
I use a wireless mouse it is much easier no wires to contend with
-
Wireless mouse for portability (like if I am going to a trip with my laptop). Other then that, I would use only wired mouse. Less latency while playing games and also saves me from using batteries
-
I'm the same.... I use to have wire mouse all my life, now it's hard to change to wireless.
-
I am not using one anymore. I think I have gotten used to the no mouse on the laptop. Somehow, I think the one with the chord is better back then when I used the PC.
-
No way I would choose a wired mouse over a wireless. I've found that most wireless mouse such as logitech
possess great longevity and battery life up to 6 months to a year, using only 1 AAA battery. I've switched to wireless for a 10 years now, and have recommended to family, friends and clients as well with no complaints.
-
wireless much easier to use
-
prefer the wireless - and hope a solar powered one comes out soon - or maybe, it already exists just need to find it! hate the batters but love the freedom of wireless - so, let's make it all solar driven!
-
It doesn't bother me either way, but I am sure soon we won't need any mouse running around. :) :P
-
I use wireless and shut off the mouse when not in use
-
Got a wired one...there are a few limitations in distance, but it has never created a real problem
-
We have only wireless mouse that we use. It is so much better than to deal with a tangled wire.
-
Mine has a wire and I like it that way not as is to steal information that way.
-
at work I like the wired mouse and at home I refer the wireless mouse
-
Corded USB is nice cuz you never worry about charging it. Wireless on the go.
-
I like wired mice a lot better. My wireless mouse that I use on my spare laptop is often very annoying, and doesn't move right. It's like it gets stuck and won't go past a certain place on the screen, and then I have to turn it off and back on again.
-
Wireless mouse, it seems to be better for me :rose:
-
I like the wireless, as I move my laptop around at least once a day.
I forgot about that off button to use to save the batteries. Thank you to whomever mentioned that.
Well, the super cold rain has moved on, so I am going out to do very brief shopping. I know what I want, where to get it, and how much it is. My daughter just sends me a text with the pic, and Christmas shopping for her is so easy....like a cordless mouse

I like both, and it doesn't matter to me,
-
I like the wireless ones.
You can get cheap batteries from the dollar store that work for quite a bit of time. Or you can invest in rechargeable batteries & a charger if you don't already have them. The dollar store ones work well enough.
-
The one that I have is wireless. I have to change batteries once in a while. I prefer the one with the wire because I might lose the wireless one some day.
-
Yea I hear you. I just use my lap top mouse.
-
Wire works better for me the battery ones always seem to fail in some way
-
I prefer a wireless mouse, along with a wireless keyboard as well. Wired isn't too bad, however, when you have a cat that likes to eat cords like I do, it's best to just stick with the wireless and avoid the hassle!
-
I'll change the batteries any day! I really never liked having that wire in my way.
-
Wireless for me. Once you try it you will never let go. Batteries last a long time.
-
we use a wireless mouse sure you have to change batteries but it is so nice to not be tethered to anything when you need to move around
-
I prefer wireless.
-
Wire mouce is best way to go because i hate having to change batteries or the mouce not even connecting to the pc on wireless ones
-
I prefer wireless for my laptop.
-
i like wireless myself!!!!!!!!
-
I like the computer mouse with the wire
-
I prefer a wired mouse so I dont have to worry about changign the batteries. The cord can get a little annoying but it's ok.
-
I like the wireless mouse, been using it for a little over a year now.
-
I tried a "wireless mouse" and all it did was scratch my desk.
I went back to the regular mouse.
I have a nice mouse pad.
-
I just bought a wireless mouse, the thing you put on the side of a laptop broke recently. So I didn't have one for awhile. It's nice to have one again.
-
I prefer wireless. It just keeps cables out of the way. I also use rechargeable batteries to keep me going
-
I modernized and bought a 2 in 1 with a touch screen, then paid $2 more and got a stylus with no wire and no battery.
-
definitely wired is much more in my bag cause batteries can get expensive especially if you use your computer a lot.
-
wireless mouse. especialy if I have my computer attached to my tv then I can sit on my couch and not have to be teathered/
