Almost everyone in the United States says they are a Christian. :confused1:
If you put it in terms of the question, "Do you believe in Jesus Christ and believe that God sent Him to be your personal savior, paying the price for your sins, and that since you have been saved, your soul will one day be in heaven with Him?", you might get a different answer.
It's no walk in the park to be real, bonafide Christian. :notworthy:
:fish:

◄ Isaiah 45:18 ►
For this is what the LORD says-- he who created the heavens, he is God; he who fashioned and made the earth, he founded it; he did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be inhabited-- he says: "I am the LORD, and there is no other.
Let your kingdom come on earth as is in heaven.
The righteous will inherit the earth.
Gods original purpose in creating man was for him to live forever on it loving and obeying Jehovah as rightful God almighty and sovereign of universe.
Only 144,000 rule with Jesus in kingdom of God.The larger flock in paradisic conditions on earth.
God didnt create man to die!His purpose is always fulfilled. The name Jehovah means "He causes to become"
◄ Isaiah 55:11 ►
so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

“Let the one bragging about himself brag about himself because of this very thing, the having of insight and the having of knowledge of me, that I am Jehovah, the One exercising loving-kindness, justice and righteousness in the earth.” (Jeremiah 9:24) We “boast” in the privilege of knowing God and of being used by him to assist others.

Whether you are or not WHAT does that have to do with WORD CHAINS ??? It's unbelievable how stupid people are on here that can't comprehend a simple thing like posting on a forum or pay attention to the topics :bad: :bad: :bad: 8)

Baptized and communed. Just not confirmed.
-
Not me
-
That's me all the way, I am proud to be a Christian.

I was raised Baptist. Well, more like, it was forced on me. I was made to go to church as a child because, "We're your parents, do as we say", and was pretty much forced into being 'saved' at the age of 12 when my grandparents called the pastor over to their house and had me come over(they lived next door) and 'get saved'. I was 12. How was I supposed to say no to my grandparents? They were an authority figure. But I never actually bought into any of it. And then when my maternal grandfather, who was also my best friend, passed away when I was fourteen of emphysema and possible lung cancer from smoking cigarettes for so many years, I decided Christianity wasn't for me. I kept thinking, "How can anyone believe in a God who allows a good man like him to suffer with such illness for years on end? How can they believe in a God who could cause us such pain by taking him from us as opposed to just healing him, if this 'God' had the power to do so?" Such was the start of my many, MANY years as an Atheist.
Fast forward about a decade and a half, I'm much more mature and much more grown up now. I can think rationally as opposed to with my emotions. I believe there is a higher power. After all, if the Big Bang happened, science has proven that energy cannot be created or destroyed. So the energy that caused the Big Bang came from somewhere. So, I believe there is a creator/higher power, but I am uncertain as to whether it is God as religion states. So I'm... Agnostic, I guess?

Yes and no. Raised Jewish, have attended Christian services, now learning a bit about Buddhism. I respect all world religions, and would like to learn about every single one before I die.
