it is a shame about what happened in california today why people are doing this is just so wrong something needs to be done to put a stop to all these senseless killings so lets all say prayers for the ones who were killed and for all the ones who were injured and to all the ones they uprooted today please stop this senseless *bleep* :angel11: :angel11: :angel11:

It's probably the best thing you can do during an aftermath like that. Some people write in depth articles about it, make political cartoons about it, movies in the future, ect. The important thing is that people unstand how wrong that was and to overcome to prevent something like that in the future.

I agree we need to pray for all those involved and for those families who have lost loved ones but, I think we also need to put the 2nd Amendment rights into the hands of all law-abiding citizens - especially concealed carry! If there was just one person there with a legal, concealed weapon maybe, just maybe all this could have been avoided or at least minimized!!

It's a little late to pray for the ones who are dead. They have already met their fate. Better to pray for the ones who are still fighting for their lives. Or just for the country in general.

Prayer is "the best thing you can do"? Talk to them, become their friends, offer assistance, hug them.To just say oh i'm praying for you doesn't do anything. Christians pray for all sorts of things that their "good" God never does or listens to them about, such as ending cancer giving food to the poor, helping those in the aftermath of natural disasters, "divine protection", ect. Praying (hoping and wishful thinking to God) that people's pain will stop doesn't stop it, or ease it. Actually taking action to help others in tough times is what helps.

been watching the news about the teen killed in Novato.One 17yr old was arrested for one killing and another victim is in the hospital from knife wounds. These are young people not to m,uch is coming out about the attac k but more will soon.

i kind of had a falling out with my faith somewhat. I recently have been getting back into praying every night and my spirituality. I've felt a lot better these past days! Praying for you!

So i am watching the end of the Yanks/Blu-Jays game yesterday and Toronto is winning 2-1 in the 9th.They bring in their closer.I forgot his name.Anyway before he pitches he bows his head for about 30 seconds and then erects it and makes the sign of the cross!!

Do you think only Christians pray? Why single out only Christians as being the only religion that prays to a "good" God? There are many religions & they all pray, or mediate to a higher/inspirational power.
