i try to make my own dessert but i do buy them every now and then my family likes homemade dessert especially my home made cannolis and brownies
-
I usually buy desserts, I don't have much time to make them. I love to bake things from scratch though (when I do have time).
-
Most of the time I make mine from scratch. But once in a while I will buy a small cheesecake or a cream pie that I don't make. It is called being lazy. Or maybe I just want something with out having to make it. I don't have a spring form pan any more to make a cheese cake. When we were getting ready to move several years ago I had all of my specialty pans packed in a box and when hubby was loading some boxes to be donated he loaded up my box and it was all donated. I did not catch it until we bought a house and I was unpacking. Oh well I hope some one else is enjoying them.

I buy them.
They are so cheap at costco/sam's club & tasty too.
Groupon has been having some great deals on pastry/cakes from "fancy" cake shops around my area for the past year. Buying the ingredients & spending all that time making it, is no longer cost or time effective.

I like to make desserts. Nothing fancy but its a fun time for the kids.
-
I usually buy desserts. It's easier and I don't have to worry about spending time in the kitchen.
-
I love to bake and cook, so I make most of ours. But when short on time I do sometimes buy something.
-
yup i make pies
-
I do both.
-
Both..I can make cookies and brownies...but I've cream I'll buy...or I'll buy a cheese cake.
-
I do both
-
I try not to do dessert at all. Sugar is a real health wrecker. Gotta go easy with it.
I do share a decadent chocolate dessert :star: with a friend from time to time, but that's about it.
I believe I really do like savory more than sweet. Nobody else out there like that? ;)

I don't usually eat dessert, but if I do I buy it.
-
It really depends on the mood I'm in and how much time I have. I tend to often just buy desserts if it's just for me. But I enjoy creating them for other people so I can get the oooh and awww factor in between bites.
-
I prefer to buy them. The power and the ingredients are expensive, and the bakeries recipes are actually starting to understand what healthy is and they are changing.
-
I enjoy baking so I typically make my own desserts. I also like using healthier ingredients so baking at home is a good way to know what's in the dessert but sometimes if it's a special occasion and we're out to eat I'll try a new dessert at a restaurant.
-
I normally buy desserts though if I have a lot of fruit that is overripe I make a simple crisp with them.
-
Buy the reduced stuff at the big box stores or bake a one bowl batch of something or other whenever the mood strikes. Always have room for dessert
-
most of the time I buy them. I'm not that good of a baker. :(
-
The only desert I make at home is "Flan", which is a French custard. The rest I buy them at the local bakery in major grocery stores. Because bakers really know all the expert techniques for certain sweets.

Yes

if i have time i make o=it if not I buy its all good as long as it tast good.
-
I am not that good of a cook, so I unfortunately resort to purchasing deserts...although, there have been some occasions where I have tried homemade deserts, such as cheesecake. Yum!
-
mainly make them myself but sometimes easier to buy one.
-
We like to make ours, we have been know to buy the cake slice at check out.
-
I just buy them unless I'm making my mini cheesecakes, which happens once in a blue moon.
-
I generally make my desserts. Occasionally I'll buy a pre-made one especially if it is a last minute thing or if I see something that really catches my eye and/or sweet tooth!
-
Sometimes I will buy a dessert, but I prefer to make my own. I love to bake and cook for someone who enjoys to eat what I fix.
-
I enjoy baking making different types of deserts i may not be the best at it but i sure try lol  : :)
-
Depends on the occasion and my energy level.... Typically dessert is a healthy one that includes the use of fruit and not much sugar. (I'm not very gifted in the kitchen, so when something fancy calls...I buy.)
-
I like to make my own desserts, but occasionally buy some cookies from my local bakery
-
I usually buy my desserts. I live alone so making them would not be the greatest idea L0L
-
can't make them so I buy!
-
I make them from scratch but sometimes, when i am tired or i want something fast i buy from the store.
-
I do both but in special occasion i really try to make my own desserts.
-
I don't eat much desert.
-
I buy desserts. I like cheesecake and ice cream. I like some cakes...
-
I do both, it depends on my mood and what I have a taste for.
-
I try to make my own desserts. Buying them is so expensive for how much you get.
-
Don't have the supplies to make deserts... I prefer just to buy them since I dont usually eat desserts
-
I buy them, I am not a good baker at all. If I have a receipe, I may give it a try but that rarely happens since we are not big deserts eaters in our house I just buy when we have a taste for.
-
I dont cook or bake so I buy desserts. My hubby will make desserts like mango pudding or cheesecakes but not very often.
-
For the most part, I bake my own desserts. I seldom buy desserts.
-
Hi Aggie,
How are you? We make our own desserts. Have a great day!
-
I usually buy them as I'm not much of a baker. Then again we don't have them in general often.
-
I rarely buy them, because they are usually more expensive. However, I will occasionally buy a candy bar. I usually make them such as cakes and brownies.
-
I buy most of my deserts and only make the easy ones.
-
Those sound good. I'll make them, but most of the time I'll just buy a slice of cake or some cookies.
-
I used to make dessert a lot but now we usually buy them at Costco because they are so good and reasonably priced there. We are especially fond of their pumpkin pies and their big oatmeal cookies.
-
I don't eat a lot of desserts, but when I do they are usually home made. This weekend I'm making an Oreo cheesecake for a family dinner. I'm pretty sure you can gain five pounds just by looking at a cheesecake.
-
i make all my deserts home. sure it takes some time but i like to do it
-
I buy more desserts than I make them. I used to bake quite a bit just don't really have the extra time anymore.
