Title: Venting
Post by: autumnsparklemom on July 14, 2016, 03:59:07 pm
I could really rant right now. But I do not need any backlash that may come from my venting. Just in need of some prayers. Thanks...  :confused1:

If you want to vent, people need to respect that and not browbeat you for your feelings.  You go ahead, and I will stick up for you...and I will also pray for you.

I second what bremer51 said. Sometimes you have to let off some steam and not let others take advantage of you by staying quiet. On the other hand, I have often heard it said that complaining or being upset about something won't change the situation and I guess I have to agree. Letting things roll off your back and having a can do attitude might not be easy but stressing about things can be unhealthy and lead to high blood pressure, trust me I speak from experience.

Venting can be good if you have the right person to vent to.  Sometimes it is better to vent to God in private.  I pray that God will sooth the anxiety that you are experiencing at this time.

Well vent if you'd like, but I pray that you will get through the difficult situation you are in!

Depends on what you vent about.  It is just as wrong to say that everyone else needs to just keep quiet if they do not agree.  That is the thing...when you post something on a public forum you have to be ready for views that may not agree with yours.  You can't post in a public forum and then yell shut up and everyone who disagrees with you.  Just sayin'.  autumnsparklemom, hope you are having a better day.

Venting is certainly a release like a teapot!!  Things build up in your life, you boil and one day spill over, so venting is good and having good friends to vent with really helps. So yes venting certainly helps with me. :)

Hope those feelings and troubles past. You will get through it. Sometimes venting can cause a lot of trouble and hurt feelings, but we all need to vent occasionally. Have you tried to journal? Even if you just write for a bit and then throw the pieces of paper away?

I know exactly how you feel.  I have an issue with a co-worker and is driving me crazy, I do not want to make a fuss but I am ready to explode and will be big if I do.  Told manager lets see if he fixes the issue or else

Prayers from my end sent your way. And I agree. Everyone deserves to have some platform in which to engage in some healthy venting. It is ill-advised to keep pent-up feelings bottled inside. I am actually going through some tough times myself.
