Title: Plants
Post by: melodylogan45 on August 02, 2016, 02:57:45 pm
How many plants do you have in your home? I have one that has been broken up into two plants. I have had it since 2007. It was given to me as a gift.

We don't have any in the house, but I am planning on getting some once we finish cleaning up and moving things around! I just got sick though so we haven't done anything recently.

I only have an aloe vera plant for the Summer months. Every now and then I will buy flowers to make the kitchen table look nicer. Really just to spoil myself and buy myself flowers. :)

I have no plants in my house at the present time.  I had a Bamboo plant, but I think I over watered it.

I seem to kill every plant I bring into the house. Fortunately received a Christmas cactus a few years ago and it refuses to die.

I don't have any plants in my home cause my kitties will only pull them apart and some are really poisonous for them but I do have several outdoor plants (aloe) that I love.

I only have one plant, I love plants but we do not get good light in our condo, because we are surrounded by so many trees, so it is hard to maintain them; especially in the winter months.

I have several, I love plants! For you brown thumbs, I recommend a houseplant called Pothos. It's a pretty trailing vine that stands up to a lot of neglect and is easy to propagate for free.

I have never really had much success growing plants indoors, only outdoors. I think I over care for them by watering them too much. I once had a little success growning bell peppers outside so next season, I think I'll give that a go! I tried this year but I had problems getting the seeds to germinate. I did some research on line and I read there is some chemical in modern potting composts which kills the seed. I'll try next year.

I love plants and have a total of five plants in my home.  I would have more but unfortunately I don't have enough room for additional plants.

I have one now that I was gifted around the time my first started dying.  :( I had had it since last October and it survived up until the spring, which is not long enough! "Jenny" was part of the name for it... Now I have an ivy plant that seems to be doing well. Keep it by the glass back door.  :rose: I would have more if I had more sunny places to put them, where cats wouldn't interfere!  :cat:

I have oodles of Aloe, which I use a lot of.

I also have a "Moses in the Bulrushes" plant that I got over 20 years ago. It is the great, great, great grandson of the original.

A beautiful plant, and lots of sentiment with it.  From a friend I knew in college, and that was so very long ago.

We are still long-distant buddies, so it is very special to me.

I have a Christmas cactus, two African violets, and some other variegated-leaf plant.  I used have about a dozen plants, but I got tired of watering, fertilizing and transplanting them.
