Hey guys. I live in hawaii where casinos are illegal but I am on vacation to the mainland and I visited my first casino last night! I put in $10 on a slot machine, lost it, and walked away. I ended up going back to the same casino, put in $40, won $110 and then walked away. Today I put in $20 and won $60, then I went to a different casino, put in $20 and then lost it. I still came out on top all things considered though. It was very fun.
It's probably a good thing they don't have casinos in hawaii...
What has your experience been with casinos?

I only go to casinos to attend live entertainment shows and to dine in at buffets. I never go there to gamble.

I Usually give myself a limit and stick to it. Unfortunately I rarely come out ahead.

Ah Hawaii. I used to live there and loved it. If you get to liking casinos seems there's always a deal to get from HI to Vegas :) I've only gambled like 3 times in my life. Once on a river boat in Lousiana, which was tons of fun, and a couple times in Reno. I think I won like $80 :)

I don't gamble, but I love the buffets.

There is a casino about 20 minutes from my house. I go often to see the shows, eat at the restaurants, or shop at their shops. I probably gamble 3 or 4 times a year and will only allow myself $50.00 to lose. I figure I don't smoke, only drink socially so spending $150 to $200 a year isn't a big deal.

We go sometimes, not very often they are fun to visit even you you do not win.

I went to the casino last weekend and was pretty luck won $100

Casinos are great! They are a fun place to enjoy a casual nights. It's always a great idea to set a specific amount and gamble no more than that. Any winnings can be spent on top of that's, but it's always nice to pocket at least some of that. Penny sits are the best!

I don't don't spend much money there. Twenty dollars is my limit. I get bored with them pretty quickly. I never win much.

I went to the casino main thing is to eat there buffet. But I do play a little, if I lost more than 50 dollars I'll stop. The most I won is 200.00 but split all equally to my siblings. :)

When I go to casinos, I spend no more than $40. I play slots mainly and I win very little.

I live about one hour from Atlantic City. The casinos can be fun. We only take a certain amount of money with us( that we can afford to lose) and when it is gone it is gone. Sometimes we win and sometime we lose. Once I won $1000.
You are right, some of the casinos have some great buffets and shows.

I have never been to a casino but am heading to Las Vegas in December. I was in Atlantic City before the casinos were constructed. My aunt & uncle had a beach house that was bought and demolished for one of the casinos. They didn't want to sell but had no choice....

I give myself a limit of $20. First time I went, I put my $20 a slot machine, Spent 75 cents and won $200 plus my 20 back. I cashed out, told my mom I was ready to leave, and pocketed my cash! LOL! We weren't even there 5 minutes. Second time I went, same thing, $20 in a machine, won $175. I wanted to leave again right away! My mom said I do like my dad does! LOL!
I also went to Bingo the first time, and on the 3rd game, won $50. It paid for all the stuff we bought for 3 people and I still had cash left over!
I have not been to a casino in years. Would like to go sometime soon. My granma likes playing Bingo. I'm not a fan of it that much though.

I only take a $20 with me, but sometimes i play for several hours on it, I win, then when i do i put the amount i started with back in my pocket. Now i am playing on their money. Rarely do i come out with out anything. Most of the time i win more when just playing with their money. We just hardly go to a casino any more.

It is illegal where I live, Louisville KY, so every now and then we will go across the bridge to Indiana and go to the casino. I have never won much, just a little. I always have fun though.

I love casinos! But, like "oldbuddy" says, I prefer the buffet!

I've never been, but would like to go at least once. I'm tight with money so I would decide before I went how much I would spend. If I won, I would take my money and go. If I lost, I would take my other money and go. Either way, I would get out of there once I spent the money.

My limit is 100 bucks. sometimes it ends up well, other times...I'm done early.

Too much smoking in the casinos. Should be no smoking in the casinos. :bad:

We only go twice a year. Been doing this about 25 years and only came home a winner 3 times. The winnings did not come near to what we have spent in the 25 years. Biggest win was 1600.00.

It's exciting and love the buffet.

I have a lot of good days and bad when I got to the casino. the most I would ever bring is about $100.00. once I am over my amount I force my self to cash out and leave.

My ex-husband and I used to gamble fairly regularly. I have only been once or twice since we were divorced over 8 years ago. You may win, but the key is to not keep putting your money back in...

For online gambling casinos I have learn that you should quit while you are ahead.. If you have a good streak of wins, you should take the profit instead of losing it in a series of losing streaks

I go to the casino from time to time and i enjoy myself when i do go.

I love them. It's a really good thing I don't live near any. I could sit and play slot machines for hours. When we've been lucky enough to go we set a daily limit and that's it. I really enjoy it but recognize in myself how addictive they can be.

They are like lotteries...a waste and a risk...steal money from the poor...and they watch you like a hawk!

I don't really go to the casinos. I've been to play bingo twice in my life but that's it.

I went to an Indian casino last week and won $12.00. It was fun.

I just went to a Casino to see Megadeth the other night in Bethlehem PA. I really don't care for them. I don't like to gamble and I think the food is way too expensive. I hate all the security at them too.
