Title: Traffic
Post by: melodylogan45 on September 28, 2016, 09:01:25 am
Is the traffic really busy when you leave for work in the mornings. It is for me when i work from 8:30pm to 5:00. I even leave early and it is difficult to pull out of my subdivision and when I get near grandriver, it gets backed up.

So glad I leave extra early, although it can still be nerve recking

What about you?

Yes, traffic is really bad with more cars on the road every year.

I don't work now, but when I did work I tried to leave good and early before the rush hour. My sister gets up at 5am and is in work by 7am, she then leaves at 3pm in order to miss the traffic. Wouldn't it be great if all businesses operated flexi-time like this.

Sometimes. Luckily I live very close to work because I hate sitting in traffic. Gives me bad anxiety.

Depends on when I leave.  My schedule varies but I usually have afternoon shifts so when I leave at 1pm traffic is not bad.  I hate getting off early like at 4pm because traffic is so bad it takes me twice as long to get home.

i think that a lot of people work the morning shifts no matter where you live plus traffic is just part of everday life as we all are trying to get somewhere in the shortest amount of time

Here in Southern California we are known for our traffic. Sometimes it's annoying to sit in traffic for hours on end, but on the other hand, everything is fairly local.

Being near Chicago traffic is always bad  and the expressways are terrible.  My commute varies from one hour (which is good) to two hours.  When it snows your lucky if you make it home to go to bed and start over

My commute is awful. I hate having to sit in traffic all the time. Something needs to be done to the road system
