My sleeping is not so great. I get a few hours of sleep; And since I have
chronic pain, fatigue goes right along with it.
I miss my younger years when i could pop out of bed already energized and
get my day started and pretty much was energized all day. I always got a good
Night sleep in my younger years. Less to worry about and less responsibilities at that
Time.
-
I get about 7 hours of sleep a night.
-
I get 7!

Sorry to know about cronic pain you have. I've had an allergy maybe to my cat not sure.Had a stuffed up nose so couldn't sleep . I went to the doc and got steroids that kept me awake for 2 nights. So last night got about 6 hours and none the night before. Not sure if i want to get an allergy test cost alot. Then again i have a cat who i cant pet unless i wash my hands after and keep out of my bedroom all the time.Depressed about it.

I am also sorry to hear about your chronic pain and fatigue. I sleep an average of five and a half hours a night from Monday through Saturday. On Sunday I allow myself the luxury of seven hours of sleep. I have had gout in my foot for the last five days and woke up a few times but the pain and swelling seem to be dissipating. I work two full time jobs and one part time job so sleep is a true blessing. I had a four hour break from one of my jobs on Sunday and hit the gym, sauna and hot tub for three hours which really helped clear out my mind. I try to catch a ten minute cat nap between projects everyday and am generally totally energized after doing so. I am lucky that my second job is out of the house-makes the ten minute nap so much less visible.

Between 5-8 hours. It depends on a few factors for me. Pain is one, so I can relate there. The major one, I have two 6 year old male cats (brothers), and they sometimes terrorize each other in the early hours of the morning! (Nothing like breaking up a cat fight at 3 AM with them screaming at each other like they are both dying! That was how it started with me getting up!!) I have gotten into the habit of getting up to ensure they DON'T fight for long like that. They have gotten better, but there are still times when the fighting is pretty bad. I also get up if my dad needs me since I am his care giver.

Depends on the day and what I have to get done in the morning before work. If I don't have a run or exercise class before work I get 8-9 hours. If I do, it is 6-7 hours. Weekends, also depends if I have something early in the morning.
-
Around 5-6 hours sometimes less
-
Between 5-7 depending on the circumstances.
-
If I'm lucky, I get 4 hours. I sleep from 8-11 p.m., then awake until 6 a.m. the next morning, then sleep until 7:30 a.m. Just when I try to fall asleep, my feet start twitching back and forth as if they're telling me not to go to sleep. This only started after my 2012 surgery. At first, it was fine because I wasn't sleeping at all and I need to exercise the feet to keep the muscles working so I wouldn't get foot drop. But geez, feet, you guys are fine now, let me sleep! LOL
I guess I should try to find a 3rd shift job. :)
-
normally between 6-8. I cannot function with less.
-
5 days a week i get 6 and 2 days sleeping to the maximum.

I've been having trouble sleeping lately, so probably not enough!
-
I get about 7 hours on average. I would like to get more, but it is hard to go to sleep before 10pm. I wish there were more hours in the day. By the time I get home fix dinner, do home work, its time to go to sleep and repeat the same thing the next day.
-

-
I get 7-7 1/2 hours of sleep per night usually.
When I don't work 7-7 shift, then I try to sleep a while longer.
-
I have been working a lot so I usually pass out at 11pm and wake up at 540 when the alarm goes off. that's about 6 1/2 hours.
-
I usually fall asleep around midnight, but I wake up around 3-4am. and then go back to sleep.
-
I try to get eight hours sleep each night, but sometimes it's just seven. If I get any less than six and a half, I'm pretty tired during the day. The best part about being retired is I can sleep like I want to. I love the night hours, and feel like I get my best sleep in the mornings. If I have trouble sleeping, I put a little lavendar essential oil on the bottoms of my feet and I usually go right to sleep.
-
Usually 5-6 hours a night.
-
I started a new job which is very physical. I try to get 8-10 hours a night.

I seldom get more than 2-3 hours of sleep a night! I am always tired......

On a good day, I usually get between 4-6 hours of rest. Even on the days when I am not getting as much sleep as I deserve, I tend to wake up around the same time each day (around 3-4 AM). Not sure why!
-
I get 6
-
Normally I've been getting 6 or 7 hours lately. Better than nothing.
-
I try to get at least 8 hours per night. Less hours if I have other things to do.
Quality sleep has a lot to do with getting a better "good night sleep". Consider the temperature in your room, the freshness of the air and your pajamas: warm for winter and cool for summer. Avoid eating late and caffeine close to bedtime.
-
I miss my younger years too...
Since I had kids I have not been able to sleep continuously..... I am lucky lately, I get to sleep between 5-8 hours...
Sleep is one of the most important things.
-
I get around 4-6 hours a day except weekends when it goes up to 10-12+hrs.
-
I typically get about 7-8 hours of sleep everyday. I used to get a lot less, but I need to sleep more to be functional for work.
-
at least 8 hours or at least i try to.........

-
8 or more hours of sleep!
-
Around 6.
-
I usually go to bed the latest about 2:00AM to 3:00AM. I sleep about 6-7 hours.
-
I don't sleep that well...I probably get 6-8 hours though but it is broken up waking up in the middle of the night and sometimes not being able to get right back to sleep.
-
I sleep a lot in one day, so more than 8 hours. :)
-
Only 2-3 hours
-
When I was much younger (and obviously had fewer commitments), I used to get the full 8-10 hours of sleep. As I get older, however, those hours are dwindling away. As of now, I get between 6-8 hours of sleep.
-
Lately I've been getting about 6 hours. :( Better than nothing, I guess.
-
i usually get at least 8 hours........
-
I get about 6-7 hours of sleep per night. I find that if I am not sleeping enough I get fidgety, headaches and just tired all the times.
-
I get around 6hours.
-
I get around 7 and a half hours of sleep. I used to a lot less when I was in college because I woke up early to go workout.
-
I don't know it's hard to say I didn't sleep straight though I wake up a few times during the night.
-
I count myself lucky if I get anymore than two hours per night. Unfortunately this leads to a major crash after a couple of weeks where I can stay out nearly 14 hours. I have insomnia and anxiety that keep me awake that in turn makes them worse to deal with on little sleep and probably causes undue stress.
-
Lately I'm getting 4-6 hours. Meh. :\
-
really not enough,,,, if i get at least 6 hours I am doing good. I am a night owl and it is always after 1am before I get to bed. then i am usually up by 8am. Wish I could go to bed earlier but I just lay there wide awake
-
Usually 2 but on a good night maybe 4. Although since I've increased my dosage of melatonin I've been able to fall asleep and stay asleep during the full time rather than waking up every 15 minutes or so. I get nervous about taking anything stronger because I have sleep apnea and need to be able to wake up when I can't breathe. Also, I sleepwalk so that in itself is tricky to manage.
-
I get probably 5 hrs
-
I can't get enough. I have sleep apnea and even with the machine I know I wake up a lot and even just to go to the bathroom. But when my sons both work I take a long nap - if they are here they fuss at me about taking a nap so I don't. Oh well lol when you get old you are bossed around by your grown kids I guess or some of us are anyway.
-
I get about seven to eight hours of sleep a night.I feel for you and your pain. I go to pain management. Have you ever considered going to pain management? I hope that you get better with your pain. :monkey:
-
about 7 to 10 hours a night!!!!!!!!1
-
I have stomach problems and it is always getting me up. It actually got me up today and that is one of the reasons I am writing this post. I guess I get around 6 a day.
-
Last night I slept decent. I kept waking up and then got really comfortable for about 20 minutes and then woke up again. I saw the time this morning and thought okay only about another 30 minutes or an hour. I woke up 2 hours later, and that is a little later than I usually wake up.
-
Usually I get 7 to 7 1/2 hours of sleep but there are nights I lay awake until 1 or 2 a.m. before I fall asleep and on those nights, I often wake up a lot too. That leads to fatigue during the following day. I don't want to take sleeping pills those nights because I am afraid of getting dependent on them.
-
6 if I am lucky
-
I get about 7 to 8 hrs every night. :)
-
I get from 5-6 within the weekdays and during Saturday 6-8 hours and on Sunday as much as I need.
