Title: Tax
Post by: sunwaters on November 10, 2016, 04:07:32 am
2016 is almost over and before we know it, its tax season, are you guys more likely to pay tax from your earnings from fusion cash?

No.

Yes I have to pay taxes on my earnings but I also am involved in some other programs and the total income is enough to be taxed.

You're technically suppose to report all income regardless of the source. The site just doesn't have  to send you a 1099 unless you've received more than $600. I received one a couple years ago but haven't earned as much in the last two years

I haven't made enough from any of the surveys sites I use to pay taxes on it this year. Next year, I hope to earn enough to have to pay taxes lol

I would absolutely pay tax and would love to pay tax for doing surveys if that means I earned a lot for doing so,but the trouble is i barely make a dollar or two a day :(

Any income that is earned is supposed to be reported. To answer your question, I will be adding my FC earnings as well as earnings from other sites when I file my taxes.

Do you put it in as miscellaneous income, or hobby income? I'm always confused by that.

No..I haven't made enough money on FC to generate a 1099 and have my earnings taxed.

I never get the form from FusionCash because I don't even get close to making 600.00 per year. Wish I did and I would gladly pay my taxes.

no way lol. i have made over $600 on two other sites and just started here but yea no way.

everybody will use their scare tactics on you and say you have to report it but i dont and never have.

i have mademoney on line since 2005 and i have never claimed it, lol.

as far as iam concerned the government can keeptheir nose out of my extra money. ;D

People who make over $600 on one of these survey sites is NEVER going to be audited for it. The IRS has people that are hiding millions of dollars from taxes that must be found and audited. Our mere tax is nothing to them.

This isn't true or close to accurate. Most audits are random to begin with and there notices are generated by their software.

It would actually be easier for them to get smaller people who have made so little that they haven't bothered to go through all the measures the big people have to hide and move it around

I always report any extra money I make on the Internet.  It's crazy to think that you are a winner when you GET to pay taxes!

Yes. You would've gotten the notice before you could cashout once you hit the $600 received mark

That is good information to know; you've been *thanked*.  I was right the $600 mark for 2016, but because the money is "earned" one month, but not paid until the next month, I wasn't sure if my 2016 income would be just over or just under the $600 mark based on the December/January span at the beginning and end of 2016.

It's actually the amount that you had been paid that year. So it's from the payments that was from 1/20/16-12/16/16 even if you earned some of that in 2015.

Received my 1099 today.  Was $3.15 over the $600.00 limit so will take it with me when I file my taxes.  Not worth alot but better than being auditing and having to pay a penalty.

You're suppose to report all income regardless of the source. Companies just aren't required to give you tax forms unless you've earned over $600.

Wow! you are the first one I saw here that actually received 1099 for doing surveys. Maybe there's lot more here, but that's good, that means you guys really made good money.

Yes, I report all my earnings from all my different online moneymakers. I don't keep up with my earnings from month to month, but at the end of the year, record every transaction and then I can see if I've made overall profit.  Some of my programs are long term and won't pay off until a future date.  That's what I like about FC, monthly income that actually shows up in my payment processor!
