Title: where did this year go
Post by: aggie49 on November 10, 2016, 04:23:41 pm: the older you get the faster time goes it seems like we just celebrated new years and here we are so close to the holidays again i love this time of year but i wish time would slow down

That visit went by too quickly also.

I agree, the older I get the faster time goes but I remember my parents telling me that as a child. Yes, I remember thinking it took forever for Christmas to arrive and the same thing with summer vacation, and then the actual summer vacation flew by.

Post by: Tresbn00 on November 22, 2016, 08:26:38 am: Totally way too fast! I have vacation time for one job this week and am putting overtime in at the other job. I will be able to finish my part time job earlier this week as well. I have met my goals for the year on both full time jobs and should have no difficulty meeting my part time job goal by December twenty fourth. I am going to do a few surveys this week in order to hit my fusion cash goal for the year which means I need to get one more cash out before the thirty first. I have the last two weeks of the year off as well and will be using that time to set my 2017 goals in place which will involve a lot more structure. I had some down time at one job this year and really had to scurry in order to catch up to what my goals were set at.

I love the holidays though not so much the past three years since my husband passed away but I have a lot of holiday spirit - Thanksgiving and Christmas I am really looking forward to. Hope you and yours have great holidays as well.

This summer, I tried to slow down and savor each day, and that seemed to help it not go by so fast. I do hope the winter goes by quickly though, because I hate winter, and it seems to last forever.

That seems like weeks ago!!! I'm stunned. And it is true time goes by quicker the older you get. I can say that for certain and I'm only 24. That's another thing--my birthday was in May, and it feels like it was much more recent than that!!! I don't like this!!! :sweat: :'(

I have a credit card that I am anticipating will be paid off by February/March of next year. Plus, I have been doing very well in maintaining the New Year's resolution that I made for this year. I hope to continue that in the years to come. :-)

Post by: ancmetro on December 06, 2016, 01:42:39 am: Time goes faster as you age because you have more things to do that are time consuming. Do not forget "weather can really mess up your activities". So take that into consideration when you plan your activities.
