Do you like talking on the phone or do you prefer to send a text, email
Or another form of social media that does not involve the phone?
-
Wow your vagueness is amazing, good job  8)
-
It's not my best thing to talk on the telephone for a long period of time.
-
If I know the person is busy, I'll text or email.
-
Prefer talking on the phone. Old lady here so don't know how to text well did it once. Yesterday had to contact sears through a chat took 15 minutes now a phone call would of been much faster.
-
I like talking on the phone from time to time but not for long periods of time. I still like to hear that person voice if we haven't talk for a day or two, but I still prefer texting over a phone call because I love to text and it is quicker for the person to get it when you are trying to reach them, but also a phone call is too.
-
I don't mind talking on the phone, but if I don't feel like talking I will send a text.
-
I loathe talking on the phone. Text all the way!
-
I like to talk more straight forward and not misunderstanding. :)
-
it is sometimes nice to just text for people you dont talk to a lot or if you newed an answer for something quickly. This is especillay helpful for work.
-
I like talking to the food you explain and said clearly what you want to say
-
I prefer text message or another form of messaging usually, unless it's a relatively short phone call. I'm not a talkative person and have anxiety (especially when it comes to speaking on the phone!) so it doesn't really suit me.
-
Well, That all depends on who I want to get in contact with. People that I'm not all that close to, I would rather text.
-
I don't really like talking on the phone. I would rather text.
-
The only person I talk on the phone with for a long period of time is my best friend from high school. She lives in another state, but we try to talk at least once a week. Other than that, I would rather text.
-
It depends on who it is and what I have to say.
-
I prefer to text (over speaking over the phone). With the new technologies this age, there are so many ways in which to convey information/messages to people. I'm usually uncomfortable speaking over the phone (long story, LOL), so I use other means.
-
I prefer to text. I hate talking on the phone.
-
it all depends on the situation,,,,,,,,,,
-
I don't like either but if I had to choose, I'd probably opt for a text.
-
I am so lazy that I'd rather always text or send emails...but then, once I am on the phone I actually enjoy it (depending who I am talking to obviously)
-
text or email...allows me the opportunity to gather my thoughts....
-
I do both, depending on who I am communicating with, if my Mom, the only way is the phone as she does not text even though her phone has that feature, nor does she read her email on any kind of a regular bases!, so it just depends on the nature of who I am communicating with and what we may be discussing.
-
I hate talking on the phone and I make a few calls only. I am not one for texting etc.
-
I like to send messages.
-
I like email since I check it periodically. Sometimes I missed phone calls and the person calling mostly will not leave a voice mail (have to follow back on them if I'm expecting a call). I know a lot of people would rather talk on the phone and not on email because with email it will take them within 24 hours to respond.
-
yes I like talking on the phone then texting
-
A quick phone call gets to the point faster than endless texting. But I text a lot.
-
I rather use the phone. Getting a response by email may take a while and texting is annoying to me.
-
I'd much rather text than talk online. I'm really not a very social person. Other than family I don't like talking to people one on one. Sometimes it's even hard for me to talk to family lol
-
Never been a phone person I prefer text.
-
I prefer email rather then phones and such things talking on the phone for me is just weird now.
-
Phone calls are okay for long conversations, but if you only want to say a little than I would rather text. Phone calls are good if you want to talk to someone right away.
-
depends really on what needs to be talked about... im both!
-
I hate texting
-
I hate, hate, talking on the phone. It gives me a headache and it's stressful. I've had a job that I talked to people everyday. It was hell.
-
I prefer communicating via email because it seems to be convenient for both people; as long as each person can access the internet. Sometimes I text but I'm "old school" so I prefer typing on a keyboard.
Talking on the phone is okay if I need to give someone a message but I won't spend time chit-chatting on the phone. I don't have any patience for that.
-
I like to talk on the phone, I text you real can not tell what is going on.
-
i perfer text to talk its quick and easy
-
I talk to my girlfriend for hours on end on the phone and a lot of times she falls a sleep on the phone and I just let it on till she wakes up. She is actually on the phone now sleeping as I write this. lol
-
I really do not care for talking on the phone. I would rather text.
-
I like email or text better.. In phone calls there are static, background noise, and accents that make it difficult to understand
-
My most preferred way of communicating is by text. It enables me to read the message at a time that is convenient for me, and then I can take more time to form the kind of response that I want. Rather than if someone calls me asking me to do something, I have to think what I have in my calendar and what else we have going on. Really, I think it is more considerate to allow people time to respond. Plus I have the added problem that most of my family live in other countries and their timezones are way different from mine. Really, it is just more respectful.
-
I used to hate talking on the phone, I was even uncomfortable talking to my close friends... I think it was because you can't see the other person's face and there is this uncomfortable silence when both people stop talking.. eek. Has gotten better though. :-\
-
I dislike talking on the phone, always text.
-
sometimes it is nice to text when you cant reach a person but i dont mind talking on the phone either.
-
I prefer talking on the phone. I don't care at all for texting.
-
I prefer the phone but do text sometimes
-
I don't mind talking on the phone although it seems some people can spend all day on there yapping - and I just wanna say what's gotta be said and move on. I've learned to simplify and budget my time better when I utilize texting, instant messaging and e-mails.
-
I text more than anything else. I don't mind talking on the phone though. People just don't do it anymore
-
I hate talking on the phone. I think it's just a generational thing, but nobody really likes talking on the phone anymore.
