He hasn't even started the first term... There's no way to make any prediction at all on this right now. I'll give him a chance to prove himself. I gave Obama a chance... but I don't like his agenda. I'm Libertarian so I don't identify as right or left, although I would never vote for a career Democrat. I would vote for a Republican. I skipped this election because my state voted nearly 70% for Donald Trump so I knew he would win the electoral college here. My vote wasn't going to factor into the electoral college, although I'd of voted for Trump over Hillary.

I really think more like Rand Paul.

If I had to guess, I'd guess only one term.  I think he will discover that changing Washington is much tougher than he thinks.

Either that or Washington will find out that Donald Trump WILL change it !! People even questioned Regan when he was elected.

Have no idea.  I think this first term will be a roller-coaster ride, considering all the fury over the election results.

I hope it all calms down, and we get to making lives better here.

I think he will be hard pressed to finish one term.  He is just changing on so many things he promised.  I do not think it will be the picnic he seems to think.

I have no idea.  I was not a Trump supporter, but could not vote for Hillary.  I think we just have to give him a chance and see if he surprises us, or disappoints us, time will tell.

I am not a Trump fan in any sense of the word.   I am willing to give him a chance since he won but he scares me.  His ridiculous tweeting shows his character and I am not in any way shape or form in favor of the folks he is appointing to his cabinet.   I also am one of those who believe he doesn't have a clue as to what is in store for him.  I find him arrogant beyond belief.   I don't think he'll get two terms, and am not sure he'll make it through one.

It's hard to say.  He's already getting a lot of flack and he hasn't even taken office yet.  People are not giving him a chance to show what he can do, which will make it really hard on him.

First of all, I don't think he'll be able to deliver.  I think he'll be lucky if he isn't impeached within the first term.  He's being given the opportunity to do good things and he continues to make a fool of himself.

I am willing to give him a chance but his behavior,  even prior to taking office, is subject to valid criticism.   He needs to learn to control his tongue.

Do you really think he'll be impeached?  By the same Republican controlled House that voted to strip the powers of the Office of Congressional Ethics?

I think he'll find the presidency to be not all it's cracked up to be and retire after one term.

He may not want to go a second term, but who knows He may tough it out. He has a hard road to hoe right now, and is already being blamed for things he hasn't even done.  I voted for him because i did not want Hillary in office. Now that was one scary person.

He is a bully who takes to the internet when someone hurts his feelings. I don't see him lasting. I truly hope he doesn't last! And for everyone thinking what he says he will do, I wish you watched the news a bit more. Everything he has promised he has been going back on. I understand all of them lie to get votes but most try to keep some promises or at least not go back on the words so openly to the public so early on.

"Everything he has promised he has been going back on"
Like what?    So far he is spot on on all his campaign promises.

Depends on what news you pay attention to.   I've notice some news stations are like propaganda machines, they just keep spinning the truth to how they want to portray it.     You can flip around to msnbc, fox, cnn & they all see the same event & they all report it differently.   You can see fact from fiction.

I have no opinion because I don't care. I have to tell people who don't support Donald Trump to leave him out of their lives and listen to me instead because I have been known for wisdom better from my magnificent memory. Those who do support Donald Trump still need to listen to me but may not mention him to me directly.

I still contend that anyone the establishment politicians and the mainstream media try so hard to defame and discredit must be better for the country. They would love to keep their comfy "status quo."  :highfive:

Despite his unorthodox ways and brutal honesty in his speech, I believe he loves this country and is trying to change it "for the better."  :angel11:

I wish people would just give a chance instead of constantly bashing him and blocking all his efforts to do his job.  :peace:

i just hope he makes it through the inauguration. I've seen so many crazies calling for his assassination the day of the inauguration. It doesn't help that the House Dems are not showing up. That's called disrespect for our country. It's going to be a roller coaster unless Congress starts working with the president.

I have never seen the country spew such hate this election. People need to grow up.

I'm willing to give Mr.Trump a chance, at least he is actually trying to get things done, and he hasn't been in office yet.  More than what I seen Obama do in 8 years.  If Trump can get our economy up and people back to work. And if he does build our military back, and start to gain respect from other countries again.  I think he will be 2 terms.  We can only hope.....

No offense, but would any of the people who have stated that Trump has gone back on so many things he's said, please mention one of them. Just one. Just one! That shouldn't be difficult if there are so many. Right? And those who say he's an idiot, can you offer up one iota of proof for that statement. He's a billionaire businessman who has just been elected (fairly, by the way) to the office of the president of the United States. Everyone should be paying homage to him; not calling him names.

If we're going to stay the United States of America, there are a lot of people who are going to have to bite the bullet and accept what has happened. If they want change after Trump has been in office, they can vote at the ballot box. I hate all the division that this election has caused. It degrades us as a country that's supposed to be the greatest in the world.

He's not in office as of this point and he's appointed quite a few members to his cabinet. He's already kept some businesses from going offshore and he's not even president yet. What has he gone back on, especially seeing as how he's not even in office yet?

Time will tell if he runs  again, but  i am willing to give him a chance now, he was not my first pick, but when it came down between  Trump and i Hillary i chose Trump.  The American public gave  obama a chance twice, those of who did not vote for him were not out doing the crap that is going on now. I think it is a disgrace the way they are caring on.  My guess is a lot of them are being paid to protest, some are doing it it because they are sheep and will follow any thing but the  truth. So far Trump is  trying his best and obama is putting stumbling blocks in the way. I don't remember another President doing what he is doing to make Trump look bad. Obama has no respect for America nor the office.

I think Donald Trump will be impeached within six months. I think things are going to come out that he did that will make it impossible for him to continue. Either that, or he will commit an impeachable offense.

I think Donald doesn't really care about being President; I think he just wanted to prove he could win. Well, now, he's done that, but I don't think he's suited for the day-to-day banality of it all.

Plus, he can't keep his thumbs off of Twitter long enough. Just saying . . .

The people that expect the worst from President Trump are part of the problem. The least he deserves is a modicum of respect.

Give . . . him . . . a . . . chance. He can't undo everything in a day, and he can't fix all the problems in a day. I repeat; just give . . . him . . . a . . . chance.

It depends on how well he does with the term he has now.  He's already torn a country apart since even some congressmen don't like him (not just those of the opposite party).  If he can make changes which will benefit most Americans  then he probably will go a second term.  If he just continues to annoy and anger Americans, make fun and say a lot of idiotic stuff he actually shouldn't without really making changes to 'Make America Great' then he's not going to make a second term.

I think he'll be a one term due to the fact that he's 70 years old and the stress of being president is not good for someone in that particular age bracket. I can't imagine a nearly 80 year old man running the county.

He'll soon see that it's easy to give lip service when you're sitting in the sidelines than when you're actually in the game itself.
