I think it would be great if the survey companies who pay us for various product tests, would follow up afterwards and tell us what products we reviewed. I think most of the time, it is future products that aren't yet on the market, but if/ when they do put them on the market, it would be very nice if they would send an email with a coupon and a note like "hey, remember when you gave a rave review to such-and-such a product? Well, now its available in stores, and here's a coupon so you can buy it!" For example, I've been doing a long running cat food test, where they send different cat food samples, then I do short surveys on how the cat liked them. There were some he really enjoyed, and I would sure like to buy those kinds if they are ever in the stores, but I would have no idea what brand or flavor they are!

You know the funny thing is that those follow up worth pretty a couple of dollars (or gift cards) but strangely, i always forget to do the follow up. Either i did not check my email or i just forget the date or i just think it is aheadache not worth it(even though they worth it sometimes)

I usually get product tests with the brand. I did test one mystery hair moistuzer that was amazing and I wish I knew what brand it was so I can buy some

I wish those companies would e-mail me about a full-time job. I've heard people have got some work from home jobs working for survey sites by quality testing them before they are routed and sent out live to survey takers.
I guess you'd need to be pretty convincing.. plus they'd need to have a job opening. I would love to do QA on surveys for a company, as I'd be paid a lot more than just taking surveys.

I agree with ya! I've tested so many products and some of them I really liked and wish I knew the brand and name of the product so that I could buy it in the future.

I have done quite a few shampoo and conditioner product testings, never any food products though! I have no idea what I was using either. I agree that it would be nice to find out after though.

I totally agree! I did a product test on shampoo and conditioner and I never did find out the brand and the products worked very well. I would like to do more product testing and reviews. One company sent me a full size air purifier and I got to keep it and I think it was worth $200.00. It works great in our apartment! I did a product test and review on Maxwell House coffee and I was pleasantly surprised that they sent me 2 full sized cans of coffee. They also paid me a little bit for the follow up review and survey.

I have done a cereal test and cheese-it but would love to get more.

You should know what product you reviewed. Or I usually do. Or do you mean the brand like when it comes in a generic bottle. There have been times I immediately knew what brand it was. I do agree, there have been products I tried and really liked and would buy again in the future if I knew what brand it was.

i just worry about the quality of the product for testing.

I do testing all of the time with a couple of different companies. they always have a follow up survey and great rewards for completion :)

I do not believe any one does surveys as a full time job. Most people who say they "work from home or work online" and they do surveys - they are usually drawing disability or some other government check. It is the same with product testing. That is not a full time job.
