My cats were sitting in one of their condos really looking outside. I went over to see what they were looking at and saw birds eating bread I threw out, but there were 3 robins eating too! The first robins of the season.

I seen a robin too, they love rip elderberry on the bushes. Robins, are one kind of birds that don't eat my bird seed foods. That does mean we are going to have springtime RIGHT. Cool and rainy here still.

I saw my first robins today, 2/19/17, too. I'm in southwestern Minnesota.
Usually, we get a blizzard or two yet after my first robin sighting..... :/

Our winter has been so mild that all the flowers are starting to bloom weeks early. I hope the temperatures don't drop and freeze all this new growth. It's hard on fruit trees that think it's already Spring. It's 70 degrees today, which is way warmer than usual. I went out to the garden yesterday and planted some lettuce seed. My fingers are crossed that it will germinate this early. I don't even think our robins left this year!

I have been seeing robins for a couple of weeks. We don't have much cold weather here down south. It's more like spring here.
