Do you eat Pistachios? I just eat them. Do you make something with Pistachios? I would love to read your recipes with Pistachios. Have a happy National Pistachio Day! Have a gr8 day :present:

I' m with you on just eating them.... :heart: :heart: I love stuff just as it is some times and Pistachios is one of them things!! Love them almost too much!! It's not bad then they are in the shell and takes time to eat them, but the ones that are shelled for you are scary ! Easy to eat and hard to stop!

I don't recall ever trying pistachios. ??? I like nuts in my ice cream best, so if I could get my hands on some pistachio ice cream, I'm sure I'd like it. :)

I love to eat pistachio and thank goodness for the shells so I don't eat too many at one time.

I ate a whole bunch today after I heard it was Pistachio Day. Love them! Yum!

You can able to make them with cookies or cakes, but they are not cheap

I love to eat them but they cost so much I don"t get them very often.

I enjoy eating Pistachios. Especially the ones I don't have to shell. Unfortunately I don't have any Pistachio recipes but they are good. :female: :female: :female: :female:

I like pistachios, and I actually like that you have to shell them. Having to work for each one prevents me from mindlessly eating handful after handful.

I love to eat pistachios and have since I was little. Years ago the shells were red - turned my fingers red. They were dyed to supposedly look more appetizing but after all the info came out about dyes being carcinogenic, they no longer were dyed. I hate that some food companies still use dyes in their products. And BTW, pistachio ice cream is delicious!

I could easily be addicted to pistachios, they are like chips hard to eat just one or two....handfuls lol!

I just go to Publix and get those pistachios wrapped in those black plastic bag. I love crackin' the nuts, I think it is a very healthy snack with great source of nutrients.

Pistachios are not cheap so I don't get to eat them very often. But when I do, I enjoy them very much except for having to shell them first. Hot fudge sundaes with pistachio ice cream are wonderful too.

I'm not a big fan, but my dad is. He keeps asking me where he can buy pistachio ice cream.

Love, love, love pistachios!! Many years ago you couldn't get pistachios already shelled and most times they were red, that ugly red dye, your fingers would turn red trying to shell them. My brother loved them as much as I did so for his birthday one year (we were both in high school) I bought over a pound of pistachios and shelled them all for him for his birthday. He was so happy with that years gift.

I've only recently been eating the nuts because nuts are supposed to be good for you and I'm trying to eat healthier. I was never a nut eater before but I'm starting to eat more and I like them.

I used to eat a lot when I was in Italy... here not so much.... but I love them...
you can get lazy of taking them out of the shell... but if you can, always buy the ones with shell and not the already opened ones... the taste changes completely!
I never did any recipes with Pistacchios... but they are excellent also in salads.... and soo healthy too!!

I eat them plain every now and then because they are not my favorites.

I don't think I've ever had pistachio ice cream!
I do like pistachios though.

we really like them also, and yes they are expensive. But as a treat sometimes i will order them. they are a little cheaper but then you have to pay postage. But our little store does not even carry them, so i have order them from one of the pistachio farms here in N.m.. Really nice if we should g et to go right to the source. But those days are over. for the most part as we don't have any need to go in their direction any more.
