They just opened a Costco near us and I joined.  We love it there, great prices.  We usually go every 3 weeks to stock up in things,

Once or twice a month we go for the free samples, but we call it the $100 store because we never get out for much less.

We do have a membership and go, probably once a month, like OldBuddy, we love the free samples.  :)    I just read they are upping the membership charge by 10.00 this year.   Not sure that we really need the membership but just can't see giving it up.   There are only two of us in our household and we don't have a lot of room to stock pile stuff, yet I love going to Costco.   The reeled me in.   :)

I used to shop there more when I had a houseful of people, but, even though I don't anymore have all those "mouths to feed",I still shop there because some things they offer have prices that are hard to beat anywhere else.

I go at least once a month. But I do not like the fact they are raising their membership fees due to drop in earnings on the stock market.

We came from Costco and you can get nice things but next year the membership will be higher by $20 in platinum. It will be $130 .

We shop as Costco at least once a month.  It's where we buy our paper products, amongst other things.

No, we have one in the area but we have membership at BJ's  so we go there sometimes; but not often since most of the stuff is in bulk and it's just hubby and I in house so we do not  stock pile like that or buy in bulk, I do like to get  meat from them once in awhile and just  re-package when I get home into smaller portions and freeze.

I haven't shopped at Costco in a number of years.  Membership fees are just too costly.  It is simply not worth it when I can go elsewhere and get the same items at a cheaper price.

We don't have a Costco around here, but even if we did, it wouldn't be worth it to pay the membership fee just to get their "lower prices." I've been to one that my sister goes to, and while the prices are a little cheaper, it's possible to get even better prices on most things by using coupons and sales in other stores. On top of that, you have to do a LOT of shopping to make back the membership fee.

Costco is increasing their membership price on June 1.   I think Costco and other warehouse stores are good if you don't have time to go through the grocery fryers to see what's on sale where.

I love Costco but it's a dangerous place.... they suck you in.... there is almost no way you can get out spending less than 200dollars...
And if you do, you reeeally have to control yourself and be determined to only buy specific things... walking straight through certain islands without looking at anything else.. LOL....
everything there is sooo tempeting!!!

We usually do our main food shopping there every couple of weeks or so and then go to a local grocery store to fill in items we either missed at Costco or ran out of since we went to Costco. The trouble with buying at Costco is that you have to have enough space at home to store all the stuff.

Our closest Costco is an hour away but we do have a Sam's Club in town and I am a member there. I visit about once a month. There are several things that I normally buy that are much cheaper there than anywhere else.

I have a membership but I rarely shop there.  It's not that convenient from my house.  BJ's is closer so I go there more but mostly I only by gas there.

I don’t have a Costco membership. I don’t think it’s worth joining if you are a single person. I heard membership cost increased this year. It is too easy to spend over $100 on just a few items. If I need anything, I just tag along with a friend who is a member so I can reimburse the cost for the item(s) bought.

My mom has a membership there and she loves it.  I occasionally go shopping with her but being a 2 family house I don't always need things in large quantities.

I would love to go to Costco but we don't have them here. We have Sam's about an hour or so away from me, so I rarely go.

We have been shopping at Costco for years and years. We go there once or twice a month to stock up on everything and then do little fill-in trips to the local grocery store and farmer's market. I love Costco. It is so easy to return stuff there and everything is of such good quality and good price, you really can't go wrong there.

Yes, my husband and I shop at Costco. We have a water cooler and get the big containers of water there. Also buy our toilet paper, napkins, paper towels, and tissues there and any foods we use frequently, such as tomato sauce and beans. It also has good meat and produce selections at good prices. Plus it has some items we like but are not in our supermarket, such as bruschetta.
