Does anyone else feel like facebook is played out. I go on there just to get off because it does not entertain me or keep my interest. I just don't care about what other people are doing and their status. It seems silly to me now.
-
I was never a facebook fan. Nothing beats real interaction! The things people are doing on 'facebook live' is absurd :bad:
-
I hate the drama
-
I used to go on it all the time, but now it's pretty rare... I still think it's a convenient way to keep in touch with a bunch of old friends at the same time, but other than that I agree it becomes tedious.
-
I go on it multiple times a day but I never post on there, I have one to keep in touch with out of state family members and friends but it's usually nothing but drama on there
-
I don't flip through my newsfeed as much as I used to. I still get on the website because I manage a page at my job, but that is almost all I use it for these days. So many people are sharing stuff that is a waste of time. And then everyone is putting in their two cents concerning politics lately...
-
I use facebook to keep up with family far away and I play two games have for 9 years and that is it
-
I have one group i like to go to. Still a friend from high school put pics of her grandkids all the time.Enough already. Sure i love seeing my own grandson but i'll bet people are saying the same thing. Youtube is much better so many things to wtch.
-
I like the games on FB...And seeing pics of my grand kids who live 2 states away
-
Selling maybe?

I don't care for Facebook at all. The only reason I signed up with an account was because Crowd Flower required it to complete tasks. Now all I have to do is to start tying out the tasks. LOL
On occasion, I will log on to FB just to see what is going on in my 'community'. I just don't have the time or the desire to be around all the "stuff".
I have a few videos on my own page that I visit on occasion because they are enjoyable; especially the ones that involve pets. :cat: :dog:
-
I only go on facebook because I belong to a dog group, and also many freebie sites, I could care less about what people I never talked to 30 years ago are doing these days.
-
I'm still good with Facebook. I can socialize and keep up with friends and family members whenever I spend time on that site.
I also use Facebook as a tool to determine whether or not someone is still alive. That might sound funny but I check to see if they've posted anything recently. There have been several times when I've sent someone a private message asking if they're okay.

Although I use FB...I don't use it as a source of information as a lot of people have seemed to come to do with it. The 'social' part of it has seemed to disappear and it's more of a "pay attention to me" kinda thing. There are a lot of people that post ambiguous posts or 'woe is me' statements because they think that their real friends are attached to fb. Although the good thing is that I have been able to reconnect with old friends through it.

Well, there's Twitter. I have found I've been more drawn to Twitter because there's more news, and it's faster paced. There's always other sites...and Reddit. Reddit can keep me occupied for looonnggg periods of time.

I like FB for keeping in touch with family & friends. I also belong to several pet groups which have taught me alot, and a few other groups that have been very informative.
The people that like to post 50-75 posts a day, blowing up my news feed really get annoying. The drama & people's negativity, I'm allergic to all that! The people on there always posting stuff for attention, pity or sympathy---I've got better things to do than participate in that. I can't stand the ones where people are either asking for favors, money or donation to "gofundme". The game invites (no time for games), the invites to "like" pages, I HATE them!
The "weight loss coaches" who are constantly trying to do a hard sell and are all like "let me help you"....are sooo annoying. The people that feel a need to post a selfie on the hour to boost their self esteem...omg, so sick of those selfies!! :( People that are constantly bragging on themselves, or their kids 24/7-- ugh! Everyone just re-posting all the same memes (some of them years old), such a waste of time. People re-posting "news" that isn't even true because they can't spot a "fake story" when they see one....no time for that b.s.!
I just don't have time for all that, so I'm not on there much. Usually I check my messages and a quick scan of the notifications and log out.

I like to look at my friends posts and also to share some of the recipes on facebook. I also play a lot of the games on facebook.
-
I have many friends and family that use facebooks. Where they are, I am also.
-
No, I use it to keep in touch with people. I also post things on Facebook such as recipes. I use Facebook to encourage and uplift people as well.
-
I love Facebook!
-
Facebook is the only social media site I regularly use. I like it mostly for the groups; I'm in a lot of groups for my favorite TV shows and actors, and also for things like Zazzle, plus a few political groups. I do sometimes get really mad when I get into political arguments with dumb people there who make up their own version of history and politics that has no basis in the real facts. But I also have a lot of fun on all my fan groups.
-
facebook is great to catch up with people you dont normally see in normal everyday life. I have gotten a few invites recently for fun things to fo which i otherwise would not of ever known about
-
I have never been on facebook so I guess it came and went and passed me by.
-
I have a Facebook account but I rarely use it because everybody posts the same thing and tell all there business... it is just too much drama.
-
No i only care what my family is doing how are they.i could careless what others are doing (Circle)
-
I mostly use FB to keep in contact with family. I also play a few of their games to keep from being bored sometimes. I don't jump into other peoples business,,, way to much drama LOL But sometimes I like to scroll and read things, It can get quite funny at times :)
-
I used to love FB. It was my way to keep in touch with all my old high school friends and out of state family members. Now I have a lot of friends because of a site I belong too. I have unfollowed most but it seems like everyone is still posting about politics. I was so glad the election was over, just to have all of the political drama to continue. So tired of it, I only go on once a day for a couple minutes now.
-
Yes. At my age, as well, it is pretty much all married couples and their kids....and I am neither of those. I am boyfriend and cats....but, oh well. I still go on there. Every once in a blue moon there will be something funny...it's not that bad....
-
It depends on the person. No it had not played out. It is about the only way to know what is going on in a bug family.
-
Not really. I still use Facebook. Sometimes I Google something and it does not show on their website.
Then, I go to Facebook and it is right there.
-
I like to see what close family members are doing, but other than that, I haven't been on much lately.
-
I use to spend my life on facebook but it started to consume me. I let the negativity get to me wat too much thats when i logged off and here i am!
-
I just recently started getting on mine again. There for a few years I rarely got on.
-
It's gotten old. It's the same old thing, the same people complaining, the same media blowing things up, the same propaganda being shared. I look to see if my friends have shared anything, maybe laugh at a few funny memes. But I find less and less interested in Facebook every time I log on.
-
This is how I feel about MySpace.
-
too many people post political opinions that differ from my opinion
-
I just look for what makes me smile
