Title: mythoughtcounts cookies snafu
Post by: miltonarmitage on April 13, 2017, 02:10:09 pm
Hey gang,

Anybody else not being able to do mythoughtcounts because of some silly message about needing cookies enabled? I just checked and as I knew, my cookies are enabled! Looks like more bs so I can't complete a survey. If these companies don't have surveys, don't want us completing surveys, don't like our answers etc etc etc, why are they wasting everybody's time? I'm getting a bit tired of having to jump through hoops for a dollar or less, hopefully things will change for the better soon!

Did you try clearing your cookies? That will usually get rid of that message

Hi ladavia89!,

You're right clearing cookies usually works but not this time, I guess the only thing I can do is hope the problem fixes itself.

@ladavia89

Update: I cleared cookies AGAIN but still no go. It says I should try another browser, perhaps it's something with firefox? I'll have to give internet explorer a try.

Never had a problem with mythoughtcounts. Don't get paid for all the surveys but enough to keep doing them.

Hey rob110!,

Maybe it's just my computer for some reason? I used internet explorer and was able to do a survey. I know, it's hit or miss with mythoughtcounts but the dollar was nice to get!

I've been able to try them in Chrome but I haven't qualified for one yet. Some survey companies do advise you to use certain browsers because they work better. It might be a Firefox issue but I'm not sure

Whenever you participate in the surveys, you have to wonder whether there is much more behind it on the back end.
