I lost my mother, then a son and then a nephew (baby) and then my father all within 2 years was tough. But with the Grace of God we got through it all. The healing takes a while and you really never forget. Then a few years ago i lost my other son. I know someday i will be reunited with them. What a reunion that will be with God and family

There are a lot of orphans in this world. And God blessed all! By the way: Have you heard about
"God's orphaned children?"...Yes! God loves orphaned people and takes good care of them.

I lost my dad in 1958 when I was little. I lost my mother a few years ago.

I am lucky to say I have not. I feel for you. Sorry about your loss!

I thank God we still have our dad, but we lost our mom back in 1988, she was just 47, she died from breast cancer.

Matthew 10:29-31New International Version (NIV)
29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care.[a] 30 And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

I was still a minor when I lost my parents. I was barely 9 years old when I lost my mother, then 7 years later my father also passed away. Life continues on. I have already outlived my mother as an adult when she died young. :peace:

I don't even want to think about that. :(

My dad I lost really young right after high school graduation. My mom passed away in 2010 much younger than I thought she would. I was used to not having my dad who had problems anyway but my mother I really miss a lot. Not to mention my husband who died in 2013 at 57 which really hit me hard. Oh well just have to trust God and keep going.

I just lost my father in October of 2016 he was 95 years old and I lost my mother over 29 years ago, she died young and I am still grieving for my Dad, but he is with my Mom now and looking down on us all. To God be the Glory.

I can't imagine life without my parents. My worst fear. :( I know it's going to happen someday, but I don't like thinking about it.

I am blessed to still have both of my parents with me. Both of my in-laws are gone. My 94 year old grandmother is in better shape than all of us!
-
My husband's father died in 1975, age 76, mowing the lawn, sudden death. His mother died in 1981, age 74, of lung and spinal cancer. My husband was a change of life baby and had no siblings. All his other relatives were long gone, too.
My father died in 1988 sudden death while watching TV, age 75. My mom died in 2000, age 79. She just gave up after a bout of shingles which left her with severe nerve damage and pain. I have no siblings either and out of mom's family of 9 brothers and sisters, I have one aunt and one uncle left, both in their 80s.
It gets kind of lonely when you're the only one left out of all your family and friends. :'(

Mom is still with us (and an occasional contributor on this forum); I lost my dad just over two years ago at 83. Both of my in-laws passed long before I knew my wife. Her dad died when she was only 2 years old to stomach cancer which had been diagnosed as being just an ulcer. When the surgery to fix the 'ulcer' disclosed the real problem it was beyond too late. Her mom died when she [my wife] was 24. Also to cancer.

I haven't lost both parents, but I did lose my mother to cancer when she was 59 & I was in my early 30s was definitely really tough. Still is.
-
I lost both of parents when I was 35. My father passed away in April and 7 weeks later in June my mom left us. My dad was never sick so it was really a shock. My mom suffered from RA for as long as I can remember.

I lost my father in 1988. And I lost my Mother nearly 1999. 3 years after my Mother pasted away I lost my Brother to cancer. I wish they could find a cure for it. Hope everyone has a good day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe. :)

I lost my dad in 1994. He had brain cancer. My mother died three years ago. I still have most of her clothes. But I'm working up to donating them soon, probably this year. I miss them both very much.
