This morning I received a call that no parent should ever have to receive. My only Daughter at age 28 passed away this morning. She was in jail on stupid stuff that she did. She went to court yesterday and did not get good news. She did not take it too well and decided death was a better alternative.
Please if you or anyone you know is suicidal get some help. There is nothing in this world that is so bad that you believe the best alternative is death. You are leaving behind loved ones that cannot and will never understand why you felt that way. There is help out there, talk to someone, whether it is a friend, a family or even complete stranger. Bad things are not permanent and they can be fixed and/or will get better. Never feel you are alone in this world. Someone will always love you no matter what. Give your kids an extra hug tonight and never forget to tell them that you love them. May God Bless everyone. Thank you everyone in advance for your prayers and support.

I have never had children so it'd hard for me to say anything, but my thoughts and a ton of prayers for you and what ever other family and friends while you try to sort this out......

Oh, my dear, (if I may call you that), I am thinking of you and your pain. I don't even know what to say as I can't imagine what you may be feeling and the depth of it. I have two grown daughters and if I lost one I am not sure what I could do to relieve the resulting emotions. I think I might have to get some therapy. Although this is a walk you have to take alone, reach out to anyone who will listen and offer any kind of support. Maybe a support group!
Remember this: Grief is like an earthquake. The first one hits you and the world falls apart. Even after you put the world back together again there are aftershocks, and you will never really know when those will come. Also, grief never ends...but it changes. It's a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith...it is the price of love.
I have these inspirational quotes at hand because I, too, am having grief in my life at this time. Peace to you!

Thank you everyone. Sadly she is my third child and I have lost all them. My other 2 passed away at age 5 and 8 years old due illnesses and an accident. Been down this road too many times and It does not get any easier no matter how much time passes. Please love your kids and hold them tighter and never forget to say "I love you" and not just your kids but anyone that you care about. Tomorrow is not given.

ajamimajida, I am so sorry! I cannot imagine the depth of your grief. I pray for comfort for you.
I know won't be easy. I lost a brother many years ago when he felt it better to leave the world, than stay.

Wow... I have no words... it must be so hard and a real nightmare for you right now.... I don't even know how you got the strength and went immediately online to share that with all of us..... and thank you for sharing... you are not alone in your pain... we will pray for you.
It is horrible, I can't even imagine that.... you said a lot of right things. Help is always needed.

I'm so sorry to hear about your lost. :'( She was only 28 years of age she had so much to live for too bad she didn't see that. Unfortunately often people see suicide as the only way out, I'm sending big hugs your family's way. :heart: :heart: :rose: :rose: I hope you all come out of this well. Lastly may your daughter find the peace she couldn't find on this earth.

So sorry to hear about your daughter. Often wonder what i would do if i lost my kids or grandkids it would be heart breaking. I'd never be the same. Maybe she couldn't take life anymore and wanted a way out i don't know .Prayers to you .

I am so sorry for your loss. I just am so saddened by this news because I can't even imagine how you feel but I can pray that God will send peace and comfort to you.

Thank you everyone for your very kind words, encouragement and support. I will be flying to Michigan in the morning to make her funeral arrangements. I will also be contacting a lawyer to find out why my daughter was under suicide watch since she had called her husband the night before and told him of her intentions. He immediately called the jail and I guess they did not take it seriously and did not place her under suicide watch. I want answers and deserve answers. I am hoping they will release her body soon. They were performing an autopsy before releasing the body. She wanted to be cremated. I will bring back her ashes back home with me and anything of hers to keep and cherish. It is going to be the roughest week of my life. My family is supporting me and will be there including paying for part of the funeral. I do not work and on disability and just cannot pay for this. Her husband has minimum paying job and no family except his mom. He is an only child. I am going to try and give her the service that I can. I just to wish to God that I could have given her the peace she needed on earth and hope the peace she so desperately needed. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your prayers and support. Very special prayers have gone up for you and your family. I pray you will trust in the Lord for the comfort that only He can give you at this time. I can't even imagine losing my only daughter (and child) much less losing her to her own hands.

I lost my son at age 44. Not suicide, but way too early.
I just prayed for all of your family. I am so sorry.
