I constantly see questions being asked on this site that are too personal and there are no boundaries or filters. Of course I don't answer them, but some people never hesitate to ask questions that is none of their business. :o
-
People ask because some people do not mind answering. I wouldn't take things to personal in life.
-
If you don't feel comfortable answering questions surveys might not be for you. I've never come across anything that I felt was overly personal especially since it's semi-anonymous
-
I don't think so. People that don't know... ask. We don't have to answer. We have the choice to opt out.
-
I agree with those folks saying you don't have to answer, just move on. I've never had a question that I felt was "too personal". Especially since it is all anonymous. I am a bit curious as to what you felt was too personal.
-
Most of the time surveys will ask if you are comfortable answering. But I've never felt uncomfortable with any questions
-
if you are not comfortable doing it just don't
-
I can't think of anything that personal or embarrassing I've ever been asked in a survey here. Did you mean questions people are asking on the forums?

I'm sorry, but isn't that the point of surveys in the first place? You should sort of expect some personal questions. :monkey:
So far, I haven't seen any that offended me or that I thought were too personal. What boundaries and/or filters would you choose to have them respect?
If you mean the multiple options of gender and other related "new" items, I would agree it seems ridiculous, but they're checking for all possible demographics when they do that.
You can just skip it if you don't like it. No one is holding a gun to your head and saying, "Answer!"
Just my POV, FYI.

Once or twice I felt that surveys went a little too far with personal questions but I just chose not to answer them. Nothing is forcing you to answer anything.
-
Sometimes, but you don't have to answer them
-
Sometimes ... but if i feel it's to personal i just stop doing the survey
-
I do not like doing surveys that get too personal. And I do not answer forum posting if it gets too personal.

So don't answer the question and go on.

This is how *I* interpreted the question being posed, but it doesn't really matter if it is surveys or forum. If it is too personal in your opinion to share, then don't share it. Problem solved! ;)

I agree.
-
I've never come across anything that really bothered me particularly bad. If I did I imagine I'd just ignore those questions and move on. Some people just don't have a censor about them at times lol
-
There has never been anything too personal in nature as far as I am concerned. If anything, I appreciate how many panels have prefaced what they considered questions personal in nature with a statement letting me know that the next questions may be personal. I have never been bothered by anything that came after those heads up statements.
-
Not really. If you do not like the question, just skip it.
What do you have to lose? We like answers and comments,
if you decide to answer some questions.
-
Not really the only thing I will not give out is my phone number and address. I skip these and usually get disqualified but that is ok . Rather safe than sorry
-
I think that sometimes people post things on here to get the opinions of true strangers. We are all here to make money. I have been on this site for almost 10 years, and I don't "socialize" with anyone outside of this site, or even private messaging. Maybe they are things people want to talk about that they can't with a friend or on Facebook. But yeah, some of the things I see make me go hmmmmmm.
-
I've done a lot of surveys (not only Fusion Cash), and yes - I agree - they really shouldn't be asking you personal questions, because identity theft is always possible.
-
There are some things I guess are kind of personal in surveys, but it's up to you to continue pursuing if it's worth providing the details for the amount you're being asked. Crossing the line is things like SS#, but depending on the circumstances, I might still give a phone number.
-
I don't know...
-
I think, but I'm not totally sure, that you were referring to some of the questions or topics started in the forum, like this one that you did. I don't feel like any are too personal, I mean it's the forum so no one is under any obligation to participate. If you meant surveys, I just don't answer a question if I felt it was too invasive. But I don't believe I've come across one like that.
-
There are definitely questions that all the survey companies should not be allowed to ask, but still do.
-
Of course - DON'T YOU???
-
I don't ever take surveys that involve my finances, and there are some physical/health related questions I refuse to answer.
While i appreciate a chance to earn some extra cash, but it is not worth it to me.
That goes for any site I am taking a survey.

If I feel that the survey is asking too many personal questions I just click off. It's too risky these days to give out that kind of info.
-
Many survey sites ask for too much information.... And with surveys, I never give out personal info unless it is a product test. It's not worth the SPAM CALLS I get at 2am.
-
I haven't found anything too personal, but if you feel the questions are, just back out and try another survey.
-
i haven't really came across any that asked me anything personal.
-
I actually haven't seen a question that I was uncomfortable answering, or felt it crossed the line. But there are a lot of surveys out there. Maybe I haven't come across one yet.
-
If you don't like the questions, I guess you can just X out of them. I have already with a few surveys, especially if I did not think I was going to qualify half way through.
-
I think that is what is great about fusioncash. If you want to answer the personal questions you can. If you prefer not to then you can just skip them.
-
I just avoid giving my name/phone/address/etc.
-

THE OP is talking about questions asked in here. In this forum. Nobody on here has ever asked for random people's phone numbers or addresses. As for the surveys you take they have your address and phone number and your name. It is part of doing the survey. The person who is paying you KNOWS who you are.

You seem to have missed it to. The OP is talking about the questions asked in these forums. Or that is what I thought. As for the surveys if you don't want to answer personal questions such as income or political opinions then don't do surveys and expect 50 cents. They aren't trying to steal your identity. Besides that all that info is available online for anyone who wants it anyway.
-
I have never felt that way
-
any questions you think too personal dont answer

When you say questions asked on Fusion Cash, are you referring to the posts made by members or from the surveys? At the forum, I am not obliged to reply to posts I feel are personal. In surveys, I personally think questions regarding ethnicity, sexual preference, and especially annual income, is truly none of their business. If the option is available, I usually select “Prefer not to answer.”
-
If I see them I just ignore it
-
maybe, but I just don't answer them :P
-
I don't get on this site enough to see things that are really personal. I only answer what I am comfortable with.
-
If you think they are too personal, just don't answer those questions. That's all I do, look for a good topic to comment on and then pass up the rest.

I agree, if you do not want to answer then skip to something else.

If you do not want to answer then do something else. That is the point to get personal views.

I think most of the questions like birthdays and stuff are like personal. When I first started with Fusion Cash I thought wow after they ask for mines, they want to know the birth dates for all my family members. But they always say it is for classification purposes. I hope they don't fall into the wrong hands. Last thing I want is for someone to use my identity or other family members identity for criminal purposes.
