How many hours of tv do you watch weekly? I watch a lot of tv during the week and weekend?
-
During the week I watch news programs from about 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Then I might watch one more program from 8-9 or 9-10 but that would be only 1 or 2 evenings a week.
-
i have the tv on all the time when i am home not necessarily to watch just to have noise i think most of the time on lifetime movie channel i tune in and out just to see what is on
-
I have my TV on all the time, I live alone and like the noise. Like really has never been off in 5 years except when the power went out.
-
Barely any. I don't get any channels, not even local broadcast ones. I just occasionally watch video discs or shows on Netflix.
-
Whenever I have time I'll watch tv.
-
I tend to keep the t.v. on when I am home for background noise.
-
I watch in the evenings
-
I do not watch very much TV. I like to play word games on my ipad and I am into photography and that consumes a lot of my time.
-
I watch an hour a day before I go to bed. It is my way or relaxing.
-
Hubby watches a lot more TV then I do. I seem to find more things to do even when it is 108 outside. Like doing some Fusion cash, reading cleaning, and soon as it gets cooler will be making Jam from all the apricots I worked up and put in the freezer. But when he goes back to work at the schools the TV goes off and just the radio will be on.
-
During the week I don't watch much tv however I watch quite a bit of sports on the weekend.
-
I have the tv on when I am home. I watch more on the weekends and in the evenings. I do have the tv on at night it helps me go to sleep. :rose: :rainbow: :peace:
-
During the weekday I watch tv from 7 a.m. to maybe 12 midnight, if I'm not too busy, or away from home some days.
-
Most of the time I keep it on all day long because I like the noise. I'm at the computer most of the day anyway so it's nice to have something to watch. Sometimes I'll binge watch a show or pop in a movie.

With our old TV, we were told to keep it on 24/7 because it kept dust off the tubes and we had that TV for 20 years, but I don't know about the flat screen. I do keep it on 24/7 because I'm here all the time and do watch certain programs. Plus, at night I don't sleep well, so I put it to a station I want to watch. That puts me to sleep every time! But as soon as the cable goes down, I wake up and that's upsetting. Also, if I have a Dr. appt., having the TV on makes people think someone is still home (we have 2 vehicles). :)
-
I keep it on often for "company", but am finding that I want to turn it off more. The quiet is conducive to being able to think more. Often just the weather channel.
I don't like "needing" it in the background. So, I am in between now.
I do watch the news and an occasional program on purpose though.

only watch tv before going to bed... 5-6 hours maybe...
-
I have no idea of much i watch but im sure its way to much i get stuck on some of those netlfix series and waste so much time!
-
It really depends. I usually binge watch shows and have 2-3 shows I always keep up with so it could be 10 hours or 25 hours depending on what is going on that week.
-
I don't watch t.v that much i say maybe 10 hours a week if that
-
I do not know I do not keep count. But is depends on the week
-
Not much without cable
-
I try, try, try not to watch television at all unless there is something on that I know I want to watch. The television and the computer take up too much of my spare time and I would like to kick the habit. :-[
Don't see that happening soon. :-\

It varies as to how many hours I watch tv. I mainly watch it on the weekends and sometimes I leave the tv on for the noise during the weeks.

Don't you just hate addictions?
-
I watch it for the news.In this volatile world we live in I need to keep abreast of what's taking place. Don't really like the crappy shows on now. There's too much in decency on them. That's just me :moon:
-
Not that much maybe an 1 hour or 2 or more... but I always keep it on for background noise.
-
I watch very little tv, nothing much to watch!
-
I have soundscapes on the music channel on mostly during the day and baseball or movie in evenings
-
I have the tv on a lot in the evening - I like to watch Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, then often just leave it on and switch channels checking for something to watch.
-
Roughly about 15 to 20 depends on my moood really

I seem to have it on for the noise, to entertain the kids, watch the news. I probably watch way to much! LOL
-
Alot of time, I do marathons record TV watching!
-
Snooozers repeat question, please seek creative avenues ::) 8)
-
Probably close to 20 hours. :x
-
I watch about 30 hours of television a week. That is down dramatically from previous years, but that is because of work, school, and the lack of quality programs on the air.
-
About 3 hours a night so I guess that would be about 21 hours a week but always have a tablet or laptop with me doing something else too
-
I only watch General Hospital. Personally I think the TV is the "idiot box" -- it's a massive mindless distraction which pulls you in when if you had the drive, you could be on the computer or working out, doing constructive things and moving your life forward.
-
probley about 10 hours not too much.....
-
I MIGHT watch 3 or 4 hours a week, if that much. I turn it on, can't find anything to watch and shut it right back off usually.
-
TV is for people who don't know what to do with themselves.
