Title: Rude
Post by: mardukblood2009 on July 03, 2017, 09:21:35 pm
I have been noticing people have been rude on here lately. Last month when I posted something, people where not being very nice and I notice that again with something someone posted today. If you have nothing nice to say then don't posted anything. If you think it is going to hurt someone feelings in anyway, don't posted it.

I have been with Fusion Cash for years and mostly other members have been very nice, kind and helpful. But, I also, have noticed a few rude responses to a new or newish member recently. Not many, but they did make me wince.

I know, I have been doing this for 6 years and you are right, people are usually pretty nice. I don't know what is going on these last few months

When people are rude to other people they don't realize what is the right thing to say they just don't have filters, they think its ok or funny, but there is just no excuse to rudeness, plain and simple. Respect people, respect.

There are a few comments here and there that are questionable, but I am a regular on several other forums and the rudeness factors there are several hundred times greater than anything I have ever seen here in FC.  Some people hide behind the anonymity and post very harshly, but on another site - people aren't all that anonymous and STILL can be quite insulting and demeaning.  I've been verbally attacked myself a few times (not here), but I try to just let it go.

I've noticed it, that's why I value the ignore button. Quite handy.

I noticed that too, instead of helping, they criticized even for just a simple spelling. No one is perfect hello!

Anyone that you find offensive, I would block them.  No one should have to put up with rudeness or hate.  I personally have never had a problem with anyone. And I am very careful what I type in here.  I treat everyone equally whether I agree or not with what they say.

There are some who can be rude but I agree with whoever it was that said other sights can be much more brutal.   I've reported a couple of posts that I felt went beyond rude but nothing happened.   There is no reason to be rude here,  better to ignore a post rather than be rude about it.

the rule should be changed, if the post getting too rude, it should not be count as toward 30 posts or should be banned

I believe, but I'm not sure, that a person can be banned for being rude in the forum. Plus it just doesn't really make sense to be rude to people you don't even know. If anyone ever feels I'm being rude, please, by all means, let me know!!  :)

Yes, I also see that from time to time.  Then when I go to other forums on my other earning sites, it just seems to be the exact opposite; like a breath of fresh air.

I am still fairly active on this forum and plan to continue, however I suppose I just have to get through the crusty comments.

Hey, thanks dinkydawes for the reminder.  I just may have to give that button a try.

I need to carry the ignore button when I'm forced to share the road with rude drivers - talk about coming in handy?!   >:(

Yes there are some real mean people one for sure, she needs to stop jumping down peoples necks.  I no longer start threads I just add to some and make them very simple and get my 30 post and bail out. it was fun, she wrecked it for me as i'm sure she has others! thanks for this post, I know others see it too....

I agree and I am glad you posted something regarding the manners of some people. FC admins don't always get to see and monitor every thread. Thanks again for posting this and making people aware of their manners. :)

I'm sorry you had that experience. Majority of the people on here and friendly and very very helpful...but like anything in life, there are always the assholes lurking. Sorry they seemed to find your post :/

Don't take it personally. People tend to be less nice when they have a screen between them and the other person. And you never know if they had a bad day or were quickly trying to catch up with their forum posting (and didn't think what they said through). Just move on and don't let it ruin your day.

I've found that there are some people here with some very strong opinions or are often quick to be critical or judgmental, but have found only a few that I would outright consider rude.  I wonder at times if the "rude ones" are really just trolls.

There are occasionally the posts from newbies who get into a huff about wanting to cancel their account or the user who didn't read the rules and lost earnings due to not cashing out in six months. Then there was the fella not long ago who was asked by FC to prove his identity/name before getting his cash out and he was convinced that it was discrimination because of his sexual orientation. He got pretty belligerent in his responses.

But other than those, there still isn't the name calling or insults here that I see thrown about regularly on my local newspaper's website (where it is usually a fight between the conservative and liberal political camps) or on some sports related web sites where everything becomes a pi$$ing contest.  One of my favorite forums on imdb (Internet Movie Database) was shut down completely and all archives deleted due to its devolvement into trolling and insults.  It was such a shame as that was a great place to get other perspectives and good information on just about any movie or TV show.

Yes. Someone in the forum is very critical of grammatical errors and punctuation issues.  Granted, some posts are more difficult to understand due to lack of punctuation, but no need to get snippy about it.

Most people on here are pretty nice. Sometimes you do get  a few rude people on here. Just ignore them. :bad:

I love you all. God said to do that.  :notworthy:

I hope I have never offended anyone on Fusion Cash. I try hard to be civil with my comments.  :angel11:

It's funny how just saying things on a simple posting forum can hurt your feelings, but it does.

Berthabutt that comment was really uncalled for.  Now that is what I call being rude.

you also have to remember that you cannot "hear" the content/intent because it is text... it may be meant as a joke or sarcasm and just sound mean because we can't hear the feeling behind it and don't know the person saying it...not saying there aren't mean people on the forums, but I haven't seen many and I take most things with a grain of salt and the ones I feel are genuinely mean I just ignore

I don't have any problem filtering what I read to ignore what doesn't add to my day.

You are right. I have sarcastic sense of humor and really try to filter it when I'm online. It is so much easier when people can hear the tone of my voice lol
I have seen very few rude people on this forum. Most are helpful and friendly.

Yes, people can be rude - that's a given. It's not what is said: either in text or verbally; but your reaction to it. Just remember to use your virtual delete or ignore button. When people are rude it's because they don't feel good about themselves, so they unleash it on others. Refuse to receive it.

Isn't it shame that with the internet and role models in this country people are becoming increasingly rude, judgmental, nasty, belligerent, and just plain mannerless?  (Is that a word?)  Well, no matter, it is becoming quite appalling what some people will say on the internet, not even so much on this site, but all over certain blogs and comment sections.  It is very disappointing to say the least.  People seem to feel the need to critique what someone says and even how they look in pictures.  Sometimes it is just better to keep your mouth shut.

... and to tailor to the Internet a popular saying by your mother: "if you can't type something nice, then you just shouldn't type anything at all."     ;)

There are some people who don't know how to do anything but be rude.  They don't care if they hurt anyone's feelings.  I try to go out of my way not to hurt someone's feelings because I don't like to get mine hurt.

Agreed... "older" crowd has been overall very nice kind and helpful.... seems like some newbies lately are just rude....
Hope they don't bring the whole nice FC atmosphere down.... we won''t allow them to ;)

I agree. We are all simply trying to make some money here and figure things out. Posting something nice or encouraging makes everyone who reads it feel better rather than reading something mean. Boost people up...don't tear them down.
