I was just watching Fox 13 News and they announced a state of emergency in Nevada. Nevada just started selling Marijuana for recreational use and apparently.....
there is now a shortage of pot.
These people on the news definitely know how to entertain me. :heart:
What do you think about all this?

anyone watching it can be entertained.
they want to entertain you.
it has become "sensationalism" ...the ones bringing the news want to raise your emotions [ anger, sadness, fear]
for real news,you have to dig around to find it.
there are a few people telling it.

Yes, very true, unfortunately, though news does have inspiring, helpful stories every so often

No. There was no real "state of emergency" declared. Although yahoo probably did have a news story with that head line. That would not surprise me at all.

Remember when Florida was the place people wanted to move to...retire. Now more people are speaking of Azrizona. Nevada is certainly going to have it's fair share of people retiring/moving there much sooner now.

When they called it a "state of emergency" they probably were high and thought that Obama was still in office

I really cannot believe it, that is so unreal.

I haven't heard of this so I decided to google it. Apparently it's a mistake by Fox News - Nevada's Governor did not declare a "State of Emergency", he endorsed a "statement of emergency" put out by Nevada's Department of Taxation to address the shortage.
According to the Business Insider article I read, "a statement of emergency allows for swift changes in regulations during temporary scenarios".
Basically, they wanted to pass a new regulation that would allow the state to license more distributors.
No State of Emergency, no riots (my first thought), thank goodness.
