I shop on Amazon a lot, especially for Christmas gifts. They also have great deals on cell phone cases and accessories, much cheaper than other stores.

Amazon is the first place I look when I want something for myself or as a gift. They certainly do seem to have everything. I've bought clothes, toys, jewelry, toiletries, CD's, DVD's, books, towels, luggage, an air mattress, and more!  I share a Prime membership with other family members and having that two day delivery is great, especially at Christmas time, or when you need a last minute gift for something. They have good customer service, too.  They replaced a few lost and damaged items immediately.  Although they usually have the lowest price, I occasionally found a lower price elsewhere, so it doesn't hurt to check around.

I bought all of my Christmas and Birthday presents on line last year. A lot of these came through Amazon. I plan on doing the same thing this year but want to have the bulk of it done by October thirty first at the latest so I do not have to worry about shipping delays. I am also thinking about joining Amazon Prime. The savings on shipping last year would have justified the membership. I can also get a break on an Amazon fire stick for streaming free amazon, Hulu and Netflix movies through my bedroom television (and the whole family can get the movies for free on their peripheral technology. I am not into malls any more and am good at picking up on the needs and wants of my family. Ordering on line also curbs impulse buying for me. I may even start ordering dry goods for the pantry on line-would save a few minutes at the store and most likely be cheaper.

I highly recommend if you shop with Amazon to use smile.Amazon.com, you choose a charity and a small portion of your purchase gets donated to them!

For the most part, I am happy with Amazon. Heard they bought Whole Foods. Getting too big, I think.

For the most part been happy with their company, except one time when they "lost" track of why my products had not been delivered.

The customer service people did not speak English well, and I could not understand them. They never could explain to me what was holding up my order, though a date had been guaranteed.

Suddenly two weeks later, my product arrived.

I am cautious, but will still order again....unless that happens again.

For the most part I've been happy with them except for 1 time when a delivery was going to be marked late at the last second.  I had to call UPS to complain as they were the ones holding the package and I was leaving town the next day.

I like Amazon, you can't beat the convenience. I just wouldn't want to buy stuff like clothes there because you really have to be able to try things on.

I do a lot of shopping on Amazon as well.  I often carry an ongoing gift card balance there from all the sites and apps that pay in Amazon but not in PayPal.

I recently found through a group on Facebook that Amazon is running a promotion BUT TIME IS RUNNING OUT!  If you do a search for Amazon Cash - you should find a link to the promotion.  READ the description from that search for the full details, but in a nutshell - if you add $20 credit to your Amazon account at certain retailers BY July 31st, you will receive an additional $10 discount on SELECT purchases made before August 31st.  The $10 credit is applied at the time of your qualifying purchase.

The way it works = you sign in to your Amazon account and ask for an Amazon Cash barcode (which will be unique to your Amazon account).  You can print that barcode or save it to your smartphone. Have a cashier/clerk from a select list of brick and mortar stores (CVS, Gamestop, Speedway, Sheetz, and several others) scan that barcode at the register and ask to deposit $20 (it has to be at least $20 to get the deal -if you add less than $20 you won't be eligible).  You then pay by cash or card at that store and the $20 is instantly added to your gift card/credit balance on Amazon.

The kicker/catch is that the additional $10 bonus credit is ONLY RECEIVED if you buy something sold "by Amazon" as opposed to some third party seller through Amazon.  From their terms and conditions:

Offer only applies to products sold by Amazon.com (look for "sold by Amazon.com" on the product detail page). Products sold by third-party sellers or other Amazon entities will not qualify for this offer, even if "fulfilled by Amazon.com" or "Prime Eligible".

I tried to modify the comment above, but the darn formatting kept fouling up!   So here is the clarification I tried to add:

The way it works = you use a link from searching for "Amazon Cash" and then click the <Get Your Barcode> button on the page describing the offer. You are then prompted to sign in to your Amazon account where you ask for an Amazon Cash barcode.  The way I wrote it above wasn't as clear as it should be.

Yes, I order from Amazon. I can find things I can not find elsewhere. I also find the reviews very helpful. The only thing I do not like about Amazon is the shipping costs!

Amazon is one of my favorite online stores. They have everything you can think of and more. Sometimes there prices are a little high though so I shop around depending on what I am buying.

I love the convenience of online shopping, and Amazon is fast,  easy and fairly inexpensive.  But I sometimes don't understand what I can or cannot add to my shopping cart???? Sometimes there's isn't that option and I think I have to be subscribed to Amazon prime or Amazon fresh .. Also not everything doesn't always get shipped free unless u spend 25$ or more and it has to be qualifying items... But I get a lot of Amazon gift cards for doing other point incentive apps so to me, it's all free so I like it for that.

We do the bulk of our Christmas shopping from Amazon.  Lately though, I've been ordering from an app called Geek.  It's products usually come from China but they have all been pretty good.  Takes a couple of weeks to get the things but the prices are up to 90% less than usual.

I used to order from amazon all the time when they shipped for free if you ordered just $25 worth of stuff. Now that their minimum is $39 worth of stuff, I hardly order from them at all. I go right on over to eBay to look for the item I want with free shipping.

I like Amazon and usually buy Christmas toys on there for the kiddies. Years ago, I bought a lot of books on collectibles and recently, I bought a 8-packet size of Adolph's meat tenderizer. They don't sell Adolph's around here anymore except in a store hubby won't take me to because he doesn't like it. Adolph's is the only tenderizer that worked on some of the shoe leather they now sell for steak.

I used to, sooo much.  I didn't think I could live without my Amazon Prime Membership and then after I ended it, I had such a bad withdrawal that I actually went back for a month before ending it again.  I've now been Amazon-free for several months now and really haven't missed it.   The stuff I need, I found I can buy directly from the companies and most of them offer free shipping & on-line coupon codes making prices sometimes quite a bit cheaper and better,  Amazon doesn't get a dime from those sales.  :D

I buy a lot of stuff from Amazon, but one thing I've stopped ordering there are new books. I recently had to send an order back TWICE because my (new and sold by Amazon) books arrived damaged due to being packaged in huge boxes with zero padding!  :confused1: I finally cancelled the order, bought them from Walmart.com and SAVED on the purchase! Not only were the books cheaper to begin with, I even got money off for having them shipped to my local store. And I'm not a Walmart fan, so saying I liked shopping with them is something!

Out of all the times I ordered from Amazon I got damaged products about 7 times but its not their fault, It's the sellers Amazon allowed to sell with them. I did manage to get refund for all of them and without paying a cent sending them back.

I've been a Prime member for several years, and I shop at Amazon all the time. Prime isn't quite as good a deal as it used to be, because now they don't give $1 digital credits for choosing slower shipping.  So I just take the Free 2-Day shipping. They also put a lot more items as add-on items, so you have to spend $25 to get the free shipping. But it's still worth it for me, because I order so much from them.
