Ok...good for you. I would also suggest that you can contact safelink as they are a govt free mins and text service provider.

But you have to qualify for that.  Not everyone can get it with free minutes.  Or I don't think they can.  :D

My mom got a trac phone and loves it.  She doesn't really use her phone for anything other than calls and texts so it works out cheaper for her

The first phones myself and my children had were tracfone.  They were great starter phones for us.  In fact my son brought his phones out yesterday and commented on the evolution of his phone.  They got larger and thinner in size with each upgrade.  I used safelink for years... until I no longer qualified. When I started fusion cash I had my tracfone and used it for verification.  You should be fine with it.

I prefer safelink.  Tracfone is by walmart.  I hate walmart.

I should get one of those for my mom, she is NOT tech savvy, she needs something with minimal buttons, shes always on the go and I worry about her being able to get help if needed

Tracfone is one of the only companies that still operate with very basic phones. I had to order one online for my uncle that still likes the old basic brick phones that is basically only for calls

I have had my tracfone for over 10 years, I LOVE it!!  I've had people call me, and we'll be talking & they'll  ask me what cell phone I have because the sound is so clear!

I've dropped it many times and nothing broke, still works great.  Love not having a $45+ cell phone bill every month, my tracfoone bill averages about $8 a month (I get the 3 month deal online at tracphone) with free double minutes for life of the phone.  And those unused minutes never expire each month, like with most cell plans.  Love it!!

A tracfone was my first cell phone. It answers calls and sends texts just fine. I'd recommend it. :)

have never had one, but we got my mother in law one just so she would have a phone  with her all the time,  she only used it if she was out of the house.  she loved it and had no problems with it ever.
