I have an ongoing problem with Amazon. Every time I log into my account, I get an email with a verification code. I don't actually have to enter the code on the site, and don't even see it until later, but it is really annoying. I called them, and they said if I turned ON Two-step Verification (which requires a code sent to my phone as well as a password), and then turned it back off again, I wouldn't be bothered by any more emails, but I'm still getting them. Has anyone else had the problem and if you resolved it, how?

I haven't & hope it stays that way. I would recommend you submitting a support ticket to Amazon.
-
sorry i have not seen that one but it should be in setting or call them one more time.
-
No, not yet at lease.
-
No I have no problem as of yet.

I would contact Amazon if I was you. They have a 1800 you can call. I called them a few times and they are really nice.

they are growing so fast (apparently now owning Whole Foods also), they don't seem to be catching up.
Lately, it is not as easy with Amazon, as was before.
Had to go through their customer service recently. The people spoke English unclearly, so it took a lot of time and several calls to try to solve my problems.
I used to feel more confident dealing with them, but still occasionally do.

no...I have the issue where I click on something thinking I'll go directly into my account, but then it asks me to log in
-
a few years ago I did and I closed my account.
I had trouble with an order.
I called them for help.[the 800 number is on the bottom of their website page.]
They said they couldn't help; it was the merchant's responsibility.
I asked them for a contact number for the merchant.
They didn't have one listed nor could they give me one.
So, I am living without Amazon.
I can find all the products I bought there at other online shopping websites.

What are the other sites?

I'm a frequent user of Amazon and to date I've never had an issue. One time a product came and it was broken upon arrival and the liquid had emptied into the box, the post office had placed it in a plastic bag because it was such a mess. I took photos and contacted Amazon. The refunded me the entire amount of the purchase, including another item in the box that was not damaged, and sent me a replacement. I've always had positive experiences with Amazon.

No,not yet.

The only issues I'm getting is that I'm trying to leave a review. I ordered a shirt but there was a wicked screw up on sizing, and they wouldn't accept my review I left saying so. I'm mad cause I ordered this specific shirt for the 15th. Now I have to send it back and will not have a replacement when I need. I don't know why this is happening, but it's making me mad. I tried three times to review and it is not accepted.

The best thing you can do is try to call support!

I've called support, and did what they said to do, but the problems still persists. They are trying to force me to do the two-factor verification, but I don't want to, because it's a huge hassle to constantly have to enter texted codes as well as my password. Security measures like that should be optional. I'm thinking it might be because I have a seller account as well as a buyer account, although the customer service rep didn't say anything about that.

Earlier this year Amazon announced that it was adding Two-Step Verification for Amazon Seller accounts. The deadline to get it setup on your account was June 30, 2017. After June 30, your access to Seller Central will be disabled if you have not enrolled in Amazon’s two-step verification.
They did this as a layer of added protection against unauthorized access to your Amazon Seller account, even if your password is stolen and especially if you use the same password across multiple sites.
