you don't need a list to know what needs to be done each day.
there may be diversions.
there may be something new.
it doesn't matter much.
things still seem to get done.
some of it can wait until tomorrow.

For every day: A 'to-do-list' is a most have.
Most important things first,
the least important tasks last.
Do the most important things first,
the rest...do them as soon as you can!

At MY age, I don't have a choice. If I don't have a to-do list, I will forget something important. I do agree that diversions do keep me from sticking to my well intentioned plans, but I still need my list to remember what I'm supposed to be doing when I get back on track!

On my list are the extra things I need to do,

I have several to do lists. One outlining what needs to be done in the year to come with corresponding steps for completion rated in a priority sequence. I have a quarterly to do list and review which breaks my yearly goals into a more palatable bite and the review lets me reflect on how my goals are coming along as well as room for improvement. The monthly to do list helps me plan out the meeting of the quarterly goals and progress that has occurred in the last month as well as any ways that improvement cane be made. Weekly review and direction occurs on Sundays and I generally have at least ten tasks on my daily list that are placed into a priority sequence. I keep a copy of my yearly goals on a spreadsheet in my google/gmail account so that I always have access to them.

I think I need a To DON't list, so I can stay out or trouble with my wife. :P

Umm I'm almost 28 and will forget something if I don't do it right away or don't have a list

I make list when I have out of the norm things too do, just to make sure they get done. The regular household chores get gone all of the time. But when I am in high gear on other things I must have a list, makes it a lot easier to keep up with it all. Maybe it is a sign of old age but I do tend to forget a few things once in awhile.

It's always good to have a to-do list.

I sometimes make me a to do list. My husband always makes himself one. Seems we never get everything done.

When I was younger I never needed a list. My brain could easily keep up with the many things I had to do. However, since I've become older, I will stone cold forget half of what I need to do without a list, LOL! Also, I get a ton of satisfaction when I cross something off my list, no matter how small or mundane. :-[

Every night when I shut down my computer, I put the "to do" list on top of it,
Otherwise, I forget things till much later, and regret not doing that.

I love making a TTD list. It keeps me organized and reminds me of what needs to be done.
