when i try to verify my cell phone number, it says that i need a traditional landline. Can you please elaborate on what that means please and what i need to verify my phone number.

When I first joined, I still own a landline phone. Now I don’t anymore. I only carry a mobile phone. I’m afraid the telephone verification only requires landline because it will send you a code by phone for you to enter in for verification. It does not offer the option to send by text. Does anybody in your family or friends still carry a landline you can borrow to use? I have read when other members have trouble with the telephone verification, the other option is to verify through fax which you might want to send a support ticket to inquire about the process. Hope it helps.

According to the rules you can receive a text message. Here is the link https://www.fusioncash.net/faq.php and what is stated in the rules
What is "Telephone Verification"?
Before you can cashout, we require that you provide and verify a telephone number. This simple process allows us to more effectively fight fraud and maintain our high payouts. All you have to do is type your telephone number, receive a code via Text Message (SMS) or voice call, and then enter it on the website. If you are unable or unwilling to verify your telephone number, you can use the alternative verification method and fax us identification.

I don't have a landline, and I hope I never get that message.
It's hard enough to make money at this without making it harder for us to collect what we earn.

It is good to know that FC our interest in mind and is taking extra measures to prevent fraud.

you should only have to verify your number once as long as you keep your account open so after doing it once you should be fine

I didn't realize you needed a landline. I thought I used my cell phone when I signed up.

Do you have a prepaid phone? I know they usually don't accept those providers and that would be the only reason I could think it would require a landline so its a phone with a registered user

When I did the telephone verification a few years ago I did it on my cell phone without any problems even though it recomended a landline. Put in a support ticket if you continue to have issues.

I haven't had a landline in my name since 2000. I don't think you have to have a landline, that just wouldn't make sense in this day and age. Most residences have gone to just mobile phones. So am curious if you got this figured out yet, were you able to verify your number?
