It is -4 degrees in Ohio and we are under a Wind Chill Advisory. Our frigid temps are to last through Saturday. What's it like where you live?
-
I think the entire US is in a deep freeze except parts of Calif. My son lives in St. Pete, Fla and it's cold there also. brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
-
It is cold here in TN also, could we please get up in the 30?
-
Here in northern NJ we have pretty much what you are describing Ohio is like. I have a great coat made by Columbia that works just great in these below freezing temps so I have been going out for my hourly runs just about every day the cold temps notwithstanding.
-
We a temp of -22 here on Sunday night. High temp for the day was -9. Not fun and not safe.
-
Its 14 degrees here in ny but the wind chill makes it fell like -6 degrees i hope it warms up soon
-
I live in Michigan and am used to there being cold, snowy winters at times. However, this is ridiculous and I'm tired of winter weather already. On the news last night it said that it was not going to be any colder in Alaska than in Panama City, Florida. It also stated there could be 2-3 inches of snow/sleet in places like Savannah, Georgia, and somewhere in South Carolina! "Get me ticket on an airplane"...to someplace where it is warm and sunny and I don't have to come back until March!!
-
here in So Cal it's 64 degrees.... cold for us.
I don't know how people live where it is so cold, probably cheaper with less taxes.... but then there is New York City, freezing AND expensive... crazy.
-
Here in Pennsylvania we are having a heat wave. The temperature is a balmy 27 degrees 😄 The last few days it never went higher than 10 degrees. The weather forecasts tomorrow starts another few days of single digits.
-
I live in Rochester, NY. Its 23 degrees the wind is 9miles per hour. Tomorrow is going to be even colder today.
-
It has been cold here in N.M. but nothing like up North and in the Midwest. But we are warming a little for the weekend. Don't think we will see any more low 70's for a while. But oh well It is winter. In fact we would love to see a wet snow move in for a couple of days then melt and go away for awhile, we need the moisture.
-
It's been pretty cold here in MA. But today actually warmed up to about 22. :o :o :o
-
Pretty much the same here in Maryland, we have been in single digits for a few days, this weather is fierce and I hope it goes away much sooner then later.
-
We broke freezing today for the first time in a week in Kansas. It was only by a degree or so, but it felt nicer compared to the past days.
-
it is also very cold in Illinois we got into the teens instead of negative
-
With the exception of yesterday it's been in the single digits with when chills below zero for the past seven days in Massachusetts. We have a blizzard coming today and then by Friday morning it's supposed to be in the single digits again Extreme cold through the weekend.
I'm praying I don't lose power during the blizzard. I hope it warms up next week :rainbow:  :snowflake:

I think the entire US is in a deep freeze except parts of Calif. My son lives in St. Pete, Fla and it's cold there also. brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
yeah, cold spell in the US...and supposedly it snowed in all 50 states on Wednesday.
-
Where I'm at, at night, its gets to about low 70s..cold for down here. During the day, the high is about mid 80s.
-
In Georgia, the temperature is going down to the single digits. I'm not ready for this cold air, :monkey:
-
I live in Ga. and it's like in the 20's, gonna be no higher than the 40's today.
-
here is sc today it is supposed to be around 37...a lot colder tonight though...but the sun is supposed to be out today...we have mild weather but i am still ready for some heat...cant deal with the cold...and i know ours is nothing compared to others...hope everyone stays warm
-
Right now mother nature is in rare form with this snow blizzard in effect! Colder than normal but only 20 degrees and tonight going down to 3 degrees! Uugh! I need flip flop weather!! LOL! Stay warm everyone!

I just found out a new Cold Weather term: Bomb Cyclone
(CNN)If you're feeling abnormally chilly lately, go ahead and blame the bomb cyclone. It's the hottest cold-weather term at the moment, probably because it combines two already alarming words.
Bomb? Cyclone?! It's gotta be bad.
Believe it or not, a bomb cyclone itself is actually not that dramatic, even though the bitter, dangerous cold it produces definitely is. Here's a definition, along with a few other surprising and weird winter-weather terms.
Bomb cyclone: A bomb cyclone happens when a cyclone, which is a low-pressure rotating storm system, experiences a dramatic drop in atmospheric pressure over a short period of time. This process is known as bombogenesis, an equally cool weather word. Bomb cyclones can help draw colder air in from the North, which could, say, blast areas in the northern hemisphere with icy temperatures.

Its very cold here also in NC, got snow actually and my pugs is so happy first time in a snow.
-
In the last few weeks, we reached in the minus 20's and 30s windchill in Wisconsin.
Grand daughter in Jacksonville thought it was cold at 37...for her it is. But where-ever this front is, it is brutal.
Plus this last storm over the east coast (bringing freezing rain and snow to northern Florida) exploding over the east coast in warnings to stay inside, is crazy and kinda scary.
I hope people are starting to get it that it is smart to at least be a bit of a prepper, food, water, light....just the day and age. Then you don't have to race to the store, and deal with crazy crowds to load up.
Insane, but weather has its cycles. Rough....have to go out in this in a bit here, and not excited about it.
:rose:
-
the coldest it gets here in Maine where this Bomb Cyclone is heading as well the temp. not so bad right now but come this weekend supposed to be negative 10 but that's not with the windchill added in with that it's gonna be more like -15 gets colder the further up north one heads or closer to the coast the colds not all that bad thou I walk everywhere so ya get used to it after awhile
-
this is the kind of weather when some people love to have or wish they had the option to work from home.
no travel necessary; no exposure to the freezing temperatures.
-
Yes, it is cold down South as well.
-
It's definitely cold outside but it's the wind chills that's playing a huge factor in it.
-
It's chilly here in Florida, and we even got a little snow for about an hour. But it's definitely not bad at all, nothing compared to the rest of the north. Though, of course, since it's Florida, schools and what not shut down and we had a "snow day." Our biggest concern here is that it might kill our orange crops and that's big business here.
-
I agree with you on that. It's about 7 degrees where I live. Dipping down to a -1 today.
-
Yeah it's been cold out here too and I live in California.
-
I'm in Florida and it was 48 for a high a couple days ago and at the same time my cousin in Alaska said it was about the same temperature.
-
Typically I choose my words very carefully when it comes to temperatures. Instead of me saying 'it's cold, or it's cold outside', I simply say, 'I'm cold'.
There always seems to be somebody who will disagree with me by telling me that it's not cold - they go on to inform me that if I want to feel the cold, I should be ... wherever. ::) :bad:
I think it's pretty safe to say that It's Cold - at least in the Eastern part of the US.
-
I am in PA and it's the same like in OH.
