Title: What I've Learned
Post by: annadote on February 13, 2018, 07:29:25 pm
Never give up on offers if they don't work the first time. Try again every once in a while to see if something changed and you can complete the offer. Especially if you are struggling to make your 5 cents for PTC.

That is so true, I agree.  I had something nice happen to me about two days ago.  What I'm about to share is nothing new to me; this kind of thing occurs often because of your advice: Never give up.

Even though my experience involved offers in general and not just one particular opportunity, the results are the same.

I was working on a survey and came to its' completion.  Instead of getting full credit, I was DQ'd and only got a penny.  After a slight frown that lasted for three seconds tops, I went right back to the survey page and attempted another ( from the same survey panel ).

This time I went all the way through and got full credit.

My first attempt lasted about 10 minutes and I got a penny.  My second attempt was also about 10 minutes and I got 40 cents.

I have no problem when that happens.

So true, not just with earnings here but life in general.  Just pick yourself up, dust yourself off and move on.   I have learned it's just not worth getting myself in a tizzy over small stuff like surveys that dq me.

I think there's a lot of different reasons a particular offer won't work at any given time, but that may not be necessarily true at a later time.  It's happened to me before, and I've learned, as you, to never give up trying. I even click on "LoyaltyRadio" every now and then to see if the "temporary" status has been lifted.  One of these days it is going to work!!!

Very true and surveys can b3 almost anytime of the day or night. Been having bad luck with them here and other sites.

You are right, sometimes it takes trying something a second time for it to work.

Great advice! It's easy to get discouraged, esp if you spend several minutes filling out the survey, only to be told after you're disqualified and didn't meet the demographics, but just have to keep trying if we want our FC $ :D

I do the same thing. I figure if it is permanently gone they would remove the link after a while, so I keep checking.

I will, often, go back to the videos page if there aren't any there at first.  They sometimes show up later in the day.  My problem is remembering to go back and check.  I get so used to just getting it done at a certain time, if they aren't there, at that time, I have to remember to go back and check later.   :)

They really need to take down the links to their radio and videos if they've been permanently discontinued.

Good advice. I have had a time or two when an offer did not work for me. When I came back to it later on that day, I completed it and got credit. I agree with the person who posted right before me if the radio and video sections do not work, take them down so people don't waste their time :peace:

I haven't had any issues.  Surveys are just hit and miss on days.

yes this happens to me on occasion but a while back I woke up in the morning and went to do a survey and saw that I had been credited .80 for something. It must have been one of those surveys that didn't complete for some reason. Anyway, that made me happy and now I hope that if I get DQ after I complete, maybe I will see that $$ at a later date :o

I often just jump right back in with both feet. However, sometimes, I get so upset and so angry that I need to take a short break, go and get a treat, relax, and then when I feel better, go back to it.

Sometimes, all that is needed is knowing I can walk away for a time. Then, when I go back to it, it doesn't feel like work.
