Are you serious? Now you're taking it too far, no one can say how they want to die, only God has our lives in his hands, and if you take it another step, then you're making a judgement on your life as to how you want to die and a specific way at that.

I wouldn't say it's a favorite but I'd like to go peacefully in my sleep.

I pray the Lord will bless me like he did my sister-in-law. She passed away in her sleep. She had not been sick other than having having a head cold and allergy problems. She had a smile on her face when we found her.

I would most like to pass away while peacefully sleeping, after an evening spent with my family.

I don't think he's saying you should kill yourself or anyone else but, if you could put your request in to God how would you want to die. I would like to just go to sleep here and wake up in Heaven. That would seem to be the best way to go to me. That being said, ultimately, God is in control.

When I was a teen (1980's) I wanted to die in a hail of bullets after killing thousands of ppl in and around my town as I went on a long killing spree,then I became a romantic and wanted to die having my neck snapped during an intense round of cunnlingus(dying with a smile and wet face with the taste of sweetness in my mouth.) Now it's something lame like in my sleep.

JwKelly you seem not to care what is happening in this country and violence against our children when you mention you wanted to die in mass shooting. You do not think that is improper discussion to have.

If I got to go, it with no no no pain, really don't know if you truly die in your sleep because what is chasing you in your dreams!!!! So, it boils down to a head on collide with a big bang, than do I must follow the light? There's too many questions so I won't die at all until my questions are answered. :cat: don't want to go either.

There has always been violence in this country from the start-now. Lots of blame to go around with school shootings but none of it is because of this topic. From what I've read from Columbine-Parkland none of these boys hid their problems and all those around them from parents-classmates-friends-teachers-the authorities messed up big time. Not my fault this country is filled with such indifference/laziness/hate. Also not my fault the insane ease of everyone getting weapons. A teenager in the US can get an assault rifle as easy as a militant in the Middle East or Afrika. And my feelings as a teen in the 1980's having had access to rifles and shotguns with thousands of rounds of ammo is not the same as actually doing it because we all make our own choices in life. That boy Cruz chose throw his life away and end those others lives,I have always chosen to think about my future and the consequences of my actions/inactions. Life is about choices and consequences.

That's kind of a strange question. I don't think there IS a good way to die but if I had to choose it would be in my sleep.

Carbon Monoxide would be the best unless you're a hundred year old and sleep happens to kill you.

If I got to choose, which we don't since that's up to the Lord to pick time, place and location, I would say in a way I didn't know I was dying. So either in my sleep or instant like a bullet to the head. If I knew I was dying, like diagnosed with a terminal disease and given so many months to live, I certainly couldn't bare it. That would definitely kill me, but then I'd know, and like I said, that's knowledge I don't want.

The closer I get, the more often it pops into my mind. I'm 45 and and look like I'm in my early 30's and feel like I'm in my late 20's and have never felt death close,God forbid ppl take care of themselves

There’s no favorite way to die. There is a preferred way to pass on, and for everyone is death through natural sleep. Unfortunately that only happens to 2% of the world’s population. The mass majority pass away at the hospital with various common diseases (diabetes, myocardial infarction, stroke, cancer, HIV/AIDs, etc.) followed by suicide, violence, accidents. Be in good health and take care. :peace:

I would either like to die while sleeping, which seems to be a big favorite here, or have a heart attack and die suddenly with no pain whatsoever. My dad did the latter. He lived a whole life in his own house without ever going to an assisted care place or nursing home, and then just dropped dead suddenly of a heart attack.
