LOL seriously hope no one finds this post offensive however I got stuck in the restroom at my house in dire need of TP.....so where is my son? Out walking ! Bet I am more careful in the future stocking my bathroom shelf with toilet paper.

I like to keep about a year's worth of toilet paper in my stock pile. Sound like a lot? You can get it on the cheap with coupons. I even know someone who steals it from public restrooms to save money (totally serious). Toilet paper is something I NEVER run out of. Not bragging -- just suggesting you build up a stockpile using coupons/sales and the like. Before you know it, you'll have an endless supply and will never have to worry about running out again.

No, I don't. When I am down to the last roll, I always leave the door open in my bath tissue storage.

Uh, yes. What adriarobi said. I keep one of those toilet paper holders in my bathroom and it's fully stocked all the time.
I don't like taking chances like that. :-[

No, I always have at least 5-6 rolls in one of my bathroom cabinets.

I have a tall, wooden TP holder my grandfather made me 30 years ago. It holds 4 large rolls and the one "in use" is placed on his tail. So I've thankfully never run out. ;D

I have a TP holder in both bathrooms and check them often since I am the only one that ever fills them.

No, I keep the tower full and some inside the vanity. I also have Kleenex in the bathroom also.

In my own bathroom never. I have a toilet paper holder that stays stocked. I have been in public restrooms with no paper and now I always carry napkins in my pocketbook to use. I also don't open the restroom door with my hands so napkins always come in handy.

Spend 50 cents on a roll of paper towels and throw the used ones in a waste basket next to the toilet

I just bought one of those upright paper towel holders that has a handle so you can easily put a roll anywhere whether in the bathroom,kitchen,bedroom and they're not falling over,have to buy a couple more,they're very good items.

No, it has never happened to me. I always check for toilet paper.

LOL! This is a great topic! My husband and son always leave me TP-less and it's so annoying. I need to strategize when they have to do number 2. LOL!

No, I always keep a pack in both bathrooms at all times to help avoid that situation; once they are down to two or three rolls I always put in a new pack.

Never. I'm obsessive about my toilet paper supply. My rule is: No less than 12 rolls on hand at all times.

No - I always have three rolls in a basket beside the stool ;)

In our house, we have a metal holder that will stack up to 3 rolls of toilet paper, so it's always fully stocked just in case the current roll runs out. The worse is when you are in a public restroom! Then you gotta knock on the stall next to you, hope someone is in there, and ask them to hand you a wad. I have made it a habit to always check before going into the stall, so that I don't encounter such a situation!

Ha yes that has happened to me... although not at home but when I'm in a public bathroom... you know those I got go issues when you least expect em. Like when your traveling and your tummy is floppy from all the unusual things we don't normally eat. Thankfully someone was with me every time this has happened so I've been able to ask if they can spare a square.

I think this probably happens to a lot of people. I stay at my daughter's house to keep my two year old grandson. I have two step-grandkids. One is 13 and the other is 16. They never replace the toilet paper.

I hate when you go bathroom and figure out that paper is out. the you need someone to get for you or try and make it to closet to get lol.

Never happens here. We keep the cabinet under the sink stocked. That's one thing I'm terrified of running out of so I keep an overstock of it lol

I have a toilet paper stand and try to make it's stocked or has at least one roll in it before I sit down to take care of

not me, avoid that problem by planning ahead and always making sure to have more than enough rolls nearby at all times... :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

One of the most important things in the world and crucial to plan ahead on. I have rolls next to the toilet in a basket with a lid (I have cats, tp cannot be left exposed lol). When it gets low I refill from under the sink.

Nope. I keep toilet paper well stocked in the vanity in the bathroom.

Not in my house. We buy ours are Costco and get huge packs of them, putting the smaller packs in each bathroom and refilling it every weekend. Really nice system cause occasionally we'll have an extra roll when we restock, but that helps for those moments when sometimes you just need a few more sheets than normal.
