When you have snow that needs to melt then every minute of extra sunlight/daytime heat helps.  And that's how I'll spend Monday(shoveling snow) then to the store to buy more food for the next possible snowstorm on Tuesday.  And it's March !!!!

I like the standard time much better. This new time seems to make the day go by too fast. :(

Yes, I do also.

I do not like it especially in the summer, and it is light late. Really was a problem when I had to go to bed earlier and wake up very early years ago taking care of 4 grand-kid.

I really had problems going to sleep with it light outside.

We don't observe daylight savings in my state so the only trick is remembering that all my shows are suddenly on at different times!

I really wish they would stop doing that.  AZ doesn't change there clocks.  My daughter still has to mess with her one clock, though, because it wants to change automatically.  She has to change it back.

It's interesting because we have an office in Arizona and because they don't change their clocks for daylight savings they have to change the time they start in the morning so they coincide with the rest of the country.

I get up early, around 4am (on the eastcoast) and it is so weird to see the darkness still around 6am with the sun not setting until around 7pm.

I think that would mess me up more than having to set my clocks forward an hour.

I know some people hate daylight savings time because the loss of an hour. But I honestly feel better when the sun starts to set later, it means warmth and summer are coming and that makes me happy because winter is dreary and depressing!

I don't know, the day was already getting longer and staying lighter later in the evening.  Now it is pitch dark in the AM.  There are kids at bus stops in the dark now.  I can't see if in the middle of july we were on standard time it would be a bad thing
