I love going to church and hearing of Jesus' resurrection, I love being with family and I love to watch the little children in their pretty spring outfits looking for eggs.

I'm sure Jesus is really thrilled that you love Easter. When you meet him I'm sure he'll forego the whole "love thy fellow man" to punch you in the face.

Easter is my favorite holiday because of the Reason for the Season ~ Jesus! If it weren't for what happened on Easter, Christmas would have no true meaning.

I'm not a fan of Easter, its the last Holiday I spent with my mother 10 years ago. And I've been alone on the Holidays ever since.

You'd think with all the Christians on this site you'd get all these holiday meanings ? Neither Christmas nor Easter are about gifts,spending,chocolate.Easter has been made into a child's holiday when it's certainly not and Christmas certainly isn't about giving or getting stuff,it's simply about Christ and he would be ashamed about ppl getting so much they don't need/don't care about when in his time you cared about the basics for survival and helping each other.

For someone who doesnt support bible,God,Jesus etc you are actually right.Your problem is you do it to start controversy.
You can show the world till the cows come home the bible doesnt support Easter or Xmas but tradition is strong and many are blinded.We know the exact day each yr of Passover.Nisan <Jewish month>14...day Jesus was executed cos Jesus commanded we memorialize that day cos of significance his death plays on mankind.Nothing in bible supports what day he was born on or Easter.You can read Jesus command in bible after he dismisses Judas.
To take it furthur how does Santa,Rudolph,eggs,rabbits go along with Jesus birth or resurrection?Again tradition and Satan blinding the world.Many even think a Xmas nativity scene is cute.Jehovah elevated Jesus as King of Kings and Lord of Lords after his death.Satan wants you to think hes a cute baby in a cowstall.How humiliating!!Some contrast!
BTW...Passover is 3/31 after sundown this yr....All kingdom halls in the world celebrate what Jesus did for us and remember it as he commanded.

Instead of Easter egg hunts and chocolate just sit the kids down for Passion of the Christ on Bluray. And you don't need to be religious to declare the bs created by those with an agenda.

I remember being a kid and Mom would make me and my sister matching maxi dresses for Easter and we dress up in them and go to church and in our new maxi dress ! Wow that's been probably 40 years now where on Earth has the time gone?

Facts?Where do u get yours from?It was Passover that Jesus was executed and thats 3/31 this yr on a Saturday.Oh im sure he was in agony just by him yelling out "father why have u forsaken me".But the bible says Jesus was always in agreement with what his father said and he told his followers if they would follow him be prepared also to pick up your torture stake.Love is long-suffering and Jesus said the greatest act of love would be to lay down your life for others.He accepted this cos HE loved his father and the human race.
Yes it was very sad,a sinless person as Jesus suffering and dying.Thats why he said to remember this.And then a time to rejoice as Peter said,"Christ died once for all time concerning sins,a righteous person for unrighteousness.

Easter can be a good holiday for you if you look at it from a different perspective. Remember all the good memories from your last Easter Holiday with your mom. Remember the things that made you smile and laugh.
