Title: Here comes Spring & 8 inches of snow!
Post by: Nancy5 on March 20, 2018, 10:43:27 am: Happy first day of spring. My tulips are starting to come up, and we sit waiting for, hopefully, the last snowstorm of the season. We are expecting 4 to 8 inches, but we are on the cusp of 8 to 16! I HATE snow!

Right now, the temperature has been high enough to melt a lot of our snow. We got a dusting of new snow today, but it didn't stick around.

We never really got any significant ice/snow in our neck of the woods this time around, but have had some bitter cold temps off and on. It's been in the low 60s today. Our forecast suggests it will only get warmer from there.

Here in New York no snow but it is pretty cold. I hope it gets warmer soon as I have some things I want to do. Post by: nmbrown863 on March 20, 2018, 08:49:33 pm: We have already gotten quite a bit where I live. It has been snowing for 8 hours and they say it will continue until tomorrow morning. They also say we are supposed to get more snow Saturday night.

You knew it was spring by me when the tulips in the lawn by me were mowed down(One of the families that lived there just planted several bulbs and they spread all over)

it says it is snowing but it isn't at least making it to the ground in Mass.
We will see what happens overnight.

Have fun again tomorrow !!! " I could hear Jim Carrey as the Cable Guy laughing at me and calling me "Jerk Off !!" for my effort, oh wait that was my cat who was inside snug in a blanket At least shoveling snow at night is peaceful and it's pure white.

Post by: sak4kat on March 25, 2018, 06:58:27 am: We missed the snow pile that was sending everyone and there grandmother out to stores to prepare for being shut in for what 12 hours? Maybe? There were a few flurries. The temps dropped crazy cold. The sun is bright and cheery today and the degree's are back on the rise. Hopefully they stay like this until the end of fall now.

Post by: bshee58 on March 25, 2018, 07:32:06 am: We in Ga. really hasn't had any really cold weather, only one night of frost the whole time it's been supposedly winter, later this week it's gonna be in the high 70's, lower 80's.
